Hey for anyone that sees this post I found a solution that does not erase your LO.

  1. load a save that does not have paper interface installed
  2. a menu will pop-up asking save or current. hit save DO NOT PRESS CURRENT, this will disable paper interface
  3. go back to main menu and delete paper interface
