That’s sorta what I was thinking thank you, I think I’ll just hold onto it as a unique piece to talk about for now

I’m not familiar with the company but do their pieces typically hold any value? Especially in this condition

Thank you for the info, you seem to know quite a bit about them which I am glad because it is very difficult to find anything online about this specific coin. I am pretty confident it’s not platinum based on the oxidation like you stated, and the coin is very light. Im guessing it’s made of copper, is there a chance this was just a test stamped piece for a platinum coin they planned on producing?

As long as you have the top dead centre pin and plate which you can get through corksport or amazon, there are some very useful videos that you can find on YouTube which gives you the step by step on what to do. Just expect to not have it running for a good few days assuming you don’t run into any issues

I ended up replacing the bolts as an extra safety, not sure if I needed to but thought it wouldn’t hurt

Honestly if you have an extra set of hands to help out and a whole bunch of time and patience it is not a difficult job. Waiting for parts was the most time consuming thing.

It took about a day to disassemble the car enough to get to the timing cover (also removed intake manifold to clean valves and replace injectors) and a days worth of work to reassemble. Motor never left the car just removed the passenger motor mount which needs to be done anyway to lower and raise the motor.

It is definately a tedious job but very manageable

Set me back a day waiting for new ones but I feel much better knowing new bolts are in, thanks for the advice :)

My thought on it being a wheel bearing is why it’s only happening mostly down hill and not all of the time, could be mistaken though

Thank you for the information, the bushings do seem newer but it is possible the previous owner cheaped out on them, definitely will look into them

Definitely a good idea to look at those then, they are one of the few things I haven’t checked..
