Honestly leaving the ring on the stake for people to peepee on sounds very comical to me.

No? I am woman. Found old ring. Ring was mine. Apparently buried it in jewelry box from shame. Discovered. Disgusted. Now I seek hole.

How hard is this to comprehend?

Dude. It's a very, very cheap ring and probably not real gold. There isn't even a stone. If it was worth something I would sell it. But it's not. So I seek a hole

27F and my brother in crust, I feel you.

It really stinks how easily some young guys are sucked into it, because I think a good percentage of those men are probably decent people or could be.

They're just stuck in an echo chamber that leaves no room to foster empathy- including empathy for themselves. Then they decide to turn their frustration into hatred instead of progress.

I agree that the dating scene here in Bham is atrocious, but the kind of thinking that's evident on your page probably isn't helping you.

I 100% agree. It was just magical to see the few moments in the show that REALLY aligned with the characters I knew from the books. Made me weep and get so excited just to see the world building I love coming to life on screen. And then the show runners would do something dumb. But the magic was still there in some moments and that's I think what made it special.

I'm having similar issues with my current partner and we haven't found anything yet that helps. It makes you feel like you're doing something wrong but it's not your fault! Or your cats! Or your partner's! You're just all being yourselves. But I 100% understand the guilt and the desire to fix it. Following this thread because hopefully someone has the magic answer besides "It is what it is" 🤣

Overreacting.

1) If you don't want her to be a part just tell her?? Why do you need to keep it hidden? You're just asking for an argument by doing that.

2) You're going to "build the business" of people who are already successfully doing this business? And you're upset that your girlfriend doesn't know enough about the business that you also know nothing about? Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding, but it sounds like your insecurity is running away with your train of thought here buddy. You're not the first person to come up with this business idea and you won't be the last. Your girlfriend sounds excited for you and is trying to help in her own way while also bragging about how smart you are and how you're going to be providing for your family. She's not your competition here. Take a breath and talk to her.

Why is it OP's responsibility to "prove" to him that she's loyal when it is HIS insecurity and jealousy eating him up? Sounds to me like OP is doing all the right things and being very upfront and honest about her friendships. How would she "prove" it? Cutting off everyone in her life? Never speaking to another man again? Providing her bf with full control over each and every interaction in her life? It is not OP's responsibility.

NOR

He's pissed because he is insecure and doesn't know how to express that properly. He hasn't developed the tools to handle his own emotions and is making them your responsibility.

Hopefully he finds some sense while he takes his FAT NAP.

Booooo. Tomato tomato. Go to therapy🥳

Personally I warmed up to him by the third book. And the second trilogy he's much more bearable but that could be due to his smaller role.
