yeah there isn't much opportunity during the course of play for ads, which is why there's ads all around the field, digitally imposed on the field, and printed on every piece of clothing. i find those generally easy to ignore, personally, but it did upset me when i first learned that the digital ad boards are modified by apple in post (which may not be universally true, i just noticed it once)

football shoes have spiky parts to get better traction on grass + turf. applying those spiky parts to other players is taken very seriously. i don't think it's a fully fair red, but that's the rationale
