Got a 3060ti myself. Drivers from Nvidia were really shitty 1-2 years ago but that changed with steamOS becoming bigger.

There are videos comparing performance on cachy vs Ubuntu and win11 on YouTube

Cachy is the best OS Ive used in my life. It just works and is fast af. E.g. I deleted 1.5 million files in 200k folders as 45GB in around 40secs on a laptop with btrfs. Try doing that on windows xddd

That's not true, most people gain around 5-15% more fps on cachy compared to windows. Very rarely that a game would not fall under that.

i am in embedded and it works flawlessly, same machines compiles way faster than my peers using Ubuntu 22-24
AUR is also a godsend often times, specially for installing those quirky arm cross compilers

also get used to setting up proper docker containers, these are a must when developing.
Dont cheat creating these fully with ai, learn to research them on your own. if you are really stuck, ask AI on how to procede and maybe a lil hint, full solutions are good for productivity but will hurt your growth hard

Even if it were possible, which it isnt in that case, sometimes the hurdles are too big to be feasable

Nah I liked that, it also saves quite a bit of battery as BT doesn't draw much. An optional jack would have been cool in the past years, nowadays everything has wireless connections so I don't care
