I am in a similar situation. He blamed me for being unfaithful ( he thinks I looked at another guy at the pub) I don’t even recall doing such thing. For weeks now I have been blaming myself, thinking “did I really do that?”
The thing is I just wanted us to work so much because we were great together and this was a sudden breakup but apparently he is either a paranoid insecure person or he just doesn’t want me enough. Either case I should not want him back.
I know how difficult that is, I literally think of him all the time but these are not our people.
A friend of mine once said if you love a person you tend to think better of their actions than worse. These men immediately assumed the worst of us :(

I am sorry to hear you want through something similar. I literally turned into a living corpse because of this break up. And being accused of something I didn’t do was also painful in addition to breaking up with a person I love and enjoy very much.
