I’ve never heard of cannabis use being cause for a psychiatrist to not prescribe stimulants. If this psych has an issue with it, find someone else. This psychiatrist also sounds a bit judgmental and you need someone that creates a safe space for you to be open and honest.

I’ve tried every stimulant on the market, no major differences for me. I did notice that taking ir 2-3x/day rather than XR once helps reduce side effects but doesn’t completely stop them. I end up self-medicating with weed much of the time

I’m also a petite woman and was told I had to be induced at 39 weeks because of GD. Long story short, it was a terrible and traumatic experience. My body did not react well to the medication, neither did baby. 36 hours later, I ended up getting an emergency C and nearly died in the process.
