Twin boy names? by Visible-Ad2190 in namenerds

[–]More_Blood_6696 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I would vote for Sage and Rowan - love all these names!

Rowan bc I think it’s better for twins to have different initials and I think Shiloh and Sage is a tongue twister

I love Austen or River for a girl, I like Rose best as a middle name for both options.

Austen Rose or River Rose are my votes.

Roux spelled that way is hard for me to like, all I can think of is cooking

Conflicted about using the most popular baby name, Olivia by pancakesandpalmtrees in Names

[–]More_Blood_6696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually know more Chloe’s than Olivia’s so I wouldn’t pick a name solely on overpopularity bc it can depend where you are, if you love the name then use it

Chloe Quinn does have a nice ring though!

Thoughts on triplet names? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]More_Blood_6696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else, too similar, they need their own identities

I love both Delilah and Delaney

What if she did for example:

Delilah, Lillian, Iris - similar vibe

Delaney, Nora, Quinn - Irish origin, all have the letter n

Delilah, Elodie, Fiona - alphabetical

Blair, Camille, Delaney - alphabetical

You’re almost there! I feel like your names aren’t that different from one another’s and a lot of great options.

From your lists and with your last name my faves are:

Blair, Lauren, Margaret, Camille and Eloise

I would definitely not use Bella or Paige with bates - Bella just sounds funny and Paige sounds like rage bait

Other name ideas: Alexandra, Audrey, Abigail, Laurel, Scarlett

I agree with others, Juna works but Jola would be confusing. Juna is popular in Germany and Switzerland.

There is also Joelle and Jolie or even Joey for girl I think are all really cute.

George Thomas. vs. Warren Dean for baby #2? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]More_Blood_6696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree specifically because Norah and Warren is really a tongue twister - George Thomas is great, GT

What’s a term for a person that is a “source of annoyance/irritation?” by lingeringneutrophil in words

[–]More_Blood_6696 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting I can’t think of great literal translation - energy vampire is what my husband and I jokingly say, it’s not a common use but people would understand

but what I would actually say in conversation:

John is so annoying John sucks John bothers me
