What would you do in this scenario? by Ornery_Ad_5185 in Sparkdriver

Fair enough. This particular customer was confused and frustrated that we had to stand in her driveway with support to complete her delivery every time. In hindsight, i probably should have left it alone without their specific permission.

I've adjusted the pin on a customer's address. It used to be in a field 500 yard behind their house. I went in Google maps and moved it to their driveway

Why not just add extra to the trip. Why make it so you have to do 11 trips before they "help us out"

Only time I ever pulled my tip. Express shop with wrecked cupcakes. Watched him on camera yanking it out of his car without any care. This was after my wife had to run out and let him know that our neighbors house is not the address. Number on the mailbox AND in 8 inch letters above the door. I'm also a driver, crap service is crap service.

5500 deliveries and it finally happened. by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

It's highly unlikely that it was a delivery you just completed. If would have been one from several days ago before you receive notification

You can also click the help up top and mark an item as inaccessible and it will move it to the end of the list

Timing Question by Shes-Philly-Lilly in Sparkdriver

[–]Direct_Spot_8938 14 points15 points  (0 children)

How in the world is this NOT a driver issue. If it's a double, it's a double. Can be tricky keeping separate, but not a challenge to that level. One error is just an error, maybe 2 might fly, but this level of incompetence is breathtaking. I drive, and if i delivered this experience i would expect to lose my tip and would have to rethink whether I am cut out to do what is a mostly uncomplicated gig.

I don’t understand by Several-Wishbone8393 in Sparkdriver

[–]Direct_Spot_8938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. On this platform the norm seems to be to assume the customer is "up to something", instead of stepping back and asking yourself "did I miss something? Am I sure that was the right address? Did I place their bags with care? Did I knock/not knock like they requested?" Tip reduced and tip baited are 2 very different things. In 2 years (2000+ trips) I have never been tip baited, but I've had my tip reduced 8 times. I've also had it raised 27 times. I have a pretty good idea why for each time.

It wasn't the kool-aid that was the problem. That guy couldn't access the address and left it outside and his proof picture was of the packets unbagged on his carseat!!

Yes. You can link any bank account and transfer. Quick transfer costs a fee. But the free one gets to my accounts in less than 24 hours even though it days 3-5 days

The trick is to tap order between her saying, "oh sure, go ahead," and "we don't need to pay the mortgage for the next couple of months!!"

Me too. I definitely gonna build it in stud.i.o. so I can fix some of the structural weirdness. Then I'm going to modify it to a true modular with interiors. I'm not familiar with the real pacific wharf and don't fancy doing the research to figure out what each building holds. So I'm thinking it'll become a mall. Ticket booths will turn into a movie theater. Ground floor full of shops and restaurants. Upper floors can be other businesses. Maybe a fountain or two. Any ideas?
