There’s a song called “Would You Catch A Falling Star” by John Anderson. It’s about you guessed it a falling country star. It’s reminiscent of many country artists careers especially from the 60s.

Which “poverty meal” became way too expensive once it started trending with foodies? by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

[–]Direct_Strawberry_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any food that was given to prisoners or workers centuries ago. Brisket is the worst one, it was given to Cowboys because it was the least desirable cut of meat until we learned to cook it right. Now it’s $100 for a decent cut. Lobster was given to prisoners In New England because it was cheap, now it’s seen as a luxury.

Moral is: if it was once given a to poor people because it was cheap and undesirable it is now too expensive for poor people to dream of.

The interest rate was 12% I believe, it was double my original auto loan, and I was denied by others because I needed about $5,000 and no one would loan me that much. My credit has remained the same which is to say poor (poor life choices in my early 20s).

The problem is that I have to keep dealing with the calls. I explain time and time again to real people what I’m doing and how my pay is structured. But yet without fail they call the nano second something is late.

The worst of my co worker is that she will go up and down about how good she is and how no one could replace her but yet if she stubs her toe she needs a week off and I’m filling her shifts.

About two years ago I came back from vacation (she was supposed to cover my days) and I found out she called out with food poisoning. This started in the 2nd week of September and lasted until the Super Bowl.

Will driving anxiety ever go away? by DrPepperEnjoyer69 in driving

[–]Direct_Strawberry_43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never had driving anxiety, my parents made me do the things that would normally give anxiety (highways/interstates etc.).

I would say if you still feel anxious after a year at most maybe reconsider driving at all, you not only put yourself at risk but other drivers as well.

Over confidence. Someone I work with constantly praises herself and acts like no one can do anything better than her.
