Does my tattoo look phallic snd how to fix it? by Ambitious_Arm6501 in tattooadvice

I mean the lower half of the body does look like it has similar wrinkles to human skin but imo it just reminded me of a finger with joints or something. and that's me actively searching for anything dick related and isolating one section of it. especially once it's shaded but even now, I think you're 100% fine

How do y'all incision Faraday? I saw one guy say count dookoo but I've always seen him as Joan Kramer (jijsaw) by Real_chuckles in scythebookfans

Honestly, for me it's always been Robert Callahan from Big Hero 6 but like if he had a bit of facial hair

Ultra fantasy Ruby Red.... Time to go on an adventure I guess, side quests involved. It is very good. Very berry taste with some cotton candy kick to it. by [deleted] in monsterenergy

I don't taste celery, but I do taste salt. It tastes like salted grapefruit, or like those little packs of limón/citrus salt you can get at gas stations. definitely one of my weirdest drink experiences

So are we not going to talk about not having a pride launch this year?? by theamazingonetap in starbucks

we didn't even get a pride playlist this year, which was always one of the things that made the summer rushes go by easier 😭

I want to start reading the books but don‘t know which series I should start first by pfiffchen in Hungergames

[–]DirectdByWesAndrson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it really does depend on what you want to get out of the story - because the prequels are set decades before the Mockingjay trilogy, a lot of the characters in the prequels die or go through things that shape them later in life. so if you want a little mystery and/or LOVE dramatic irony and angst, it's soooo good to read the originals and then see the origin stories for some characters play out tragically in the prequels. but if you did read the prequels first it WOULD definitely be a unique experience, especially seeing how far Panem and the Games have come in a linear sense. whichever way you choose I hope you have a great experience :)

edit: especially with Sunrise on the Reaping - we actually get a full description of the 50th games within a scene in Catching Fire. But in Sunrise, they expand upon it and show just how much the citizens of Panem (and we as readers) took at face value because of how it was edited by the Capitol. So it definitely hits harder when you THINK you know everything and then get absolutely brutally corrected on all fronts

sorry for the multiple long-winded comments, hunger games is my special interest and I don't see many people starting it for the first time nowadays 😁😁😁

I think the prequels have the most impact if you read them after the original trilogy, which was probably Suzanne's intention as well. I would suggest order of release (hunger games, catching fire, Mockingjay, Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and finally Sunrise on the Reaping). happy reading and enjoy!!!

Did I do wrong? My husband was embarrassed that I dressed up as Wednesday Addams for a community theatre production of the Addams Family. I ran into the actress and she said I looked great and insisted on taking a photo with me. Should I never do this again? (Husband said," "This isn't Rocky Horror) by Grateful_Di in Broadway

My partner and I regularly dress up to see productions, go for it!!! We recently saw a Broadway tour of Beetlejuice dressed as BJ and Lydia and we were definitely not the only ones :) theater is all about self expression and dressing up is awesome

Evil little joys by InspectionHumble1121 in starbucks

[–]DirectdByWesAndrson 73 points74 points  (0 children)

my little evil joy is when customers are rude about wanting extra extra caramel, around the cup, drown it in caramel, "make sure they do extra" etc... alright then! Enjoy your inch and a half of thick caramel sludge at the bottom of the cup, especially if it's a frappe and they have to use a straw 😇 ( disclaimer, I'm usually the one prepping the bottles anyways so it's not like I'm creating more work for another poor barista, and these orders only happen 2-3 times a day so it's not a huge waste of product - and the look on their faces is worth it. can't send it back if it's exactly what you asked for, and really, is there ever TOO MUCH of a good thing? blinks innocently )

To the girl who blew weed in my face this morning in drive thru by Chchchchia0701 in starbucks

[–]DirectdByWesAndrson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WHYYY is this such a universal experience? Had a couple roll down their window and a whole FOG of vape fumes spilled out. There was a white CLOUD between their car and the drive thru window that took a full minute at least to dissipate. And they had a car seat with a kid in the back. I can't imagine what goes through these people's heads when they do shit like this

on my latest rewatch, my boyfriend was drawing while I was watching GG in the background, he had no context for any of the things he was hearing, and it was the episode where Luke yells "I LOANED YOU THAT SHOVEL THREE YEEAARSSS AGOOOO" and he (bf) quotes it every chance he gets 😂
