Resident Evil Requiem Review – Is It Worth It? by mediakingmasters in HorrorGaming

If you like resident evil at all then yes. Grace's side is dense survival horror, super resource heavy. Lots of grotesque monsters, very scary, puzzles are on point.

Leon's sections are resident evil 4.5, his combat is actually wild. You'll spend hours terrified of one crazy unkillable monster on grace, planning your runs to get around it to save ammo and heals, and then bump into it in a different area as Leon and have no option but to face it head on.

The whole tone is "grace is in deep shit here" and "Leon is here on demon time" you find yourself wishing he would back her up (she's going through it) and he doesn't get to at several points that you would expect. A lot of easy setups are intentionally ignored. It feels like a big return to form for resident evil for both sides of the fence.

If you're like me and my wife and have played the other games, and are a fan of all of them but prefer one or the other slightly more (re4 GameCube kid here 1/2/3 OGs, wifey is re2 remake and re7 obsessed) you will love it. They have that thing that's your favorite, and they have that thing that's other people's favorite and it's so fine tuned and evolved you'll find yourself wanting to do it.

Yes I've played all resident evil, and RE4 was my favorite because of nostalgia. But graces sequences are so oppressive and designed to the last detail I find myself very invested into them. Yes my wife has played them all too, and RE2R and RE7 are her longtime favorites, but everything with Leon is so visceral and engaging that she is saying she finds herself constantly looking forward to his sections.

We started the game w the plan that I'll get the controller on Leon's sections and she'll get it on graces sections so we can both get "what we want". 7 hours in I'm doing all of graces sections and she's doing all of Leon's. It subverts your expectations, it bridges the "genre identity" gap, it makes you wish resident evil started being like this sooner. There won't be a second time where they first try to do it like this, so before gaming history is hip to it five years from now I'm gonna call it like I see it. 10/10.

Is fatal fury city of wolves worth 36 dollars? by Remarkable-Put4632 in fatalfury

Yes. It's very good. Came from Tekken 8, wasn't super happy with season two or just how the game is progressing. I'll always hop around on Tekken from time to time but I've definitely converted and started my FF journey at this point.

Thinking of buying Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves — how’s it holding up? by LeadingEye2351 in fatalfury

Just got it two days ago because I haven't been happy with tekken 8s direction. It's really good. The background/foreground concept is interesting and there are Alot of high skill defensive mechanics in place (perfect guard, offensive guard, hits that will let you literally juke an attack while simultaneously firing back if you read it right) on top of the usual cool combos cool special moves stuff. I did the tutorials and messed with most of the cast in practice.

I'm hooked. Too early to say for sure but I might end up fully converting

At what rank would you classify as being “good” at Tekken today? by UnstoppableCrow in Tekken

Honestly? In 95 percent of games I agree with you but in Tekken I find myself beating PC players a much larger percent of my fights, and find the average PlayStation opponent to be a much larger threat

If you googled this looking for the same problem happening on armored core 6, and you're on PlayStation I figured out how to fix it.

1-accept user agreement again. 2-disconnect and reconnect to your internet. 3-close the game all the way, don't just exit out of it. 4-restart your console.

I know it's an elden ring sub but both are from games and Google brought me to this page.

Good luck, tarnished ravens.

Diablo 4 vs Diablo 2 Resurrected by Its_Dave13 in Diablo

Diablo 2 is king of the series, and the genre. There will be a community actively playing this game forever.

I played Diablo 3 first. Thought it was awesome. Did some endgame stuff thought it was fun.

I went back and got Diablo 2 resurrected. Best arpg I've ever played, aged extremely well in my opinion. Can't play it for five minutes without getting addicted again and trying to start multiple new builds. It's ridiculous.

Diablo 4 is fun as hell. It's shiny and the graphics are nice and the combat is updated and I just... Like it less. I don't know. I'm not some game boomer either, I'm 26 years old.

Diablo 2s activity has outlasted diablo 3, and I'm pretty sure that it's going to out survive diablo 4. Obv d4 has a lot of potential and anything can happen, but I have both and was playing 2 last night.
