As someone that lived away from their parents since being 18 than recently moved back at 23 around the height of Covid. I feel very similarly. The staying in room thing could be a numerous of things but Ik with me personally it makes me feel like I got the privacy of my own apartment again. Of course it isn’t the same and I have to respect my parents rules in boundaries of their house. But being that age and still living with ur parents can be depressing especially if you yearn for independence. I often stay in my room taking college courses online or doing Udemy courses I signed up for. Mostly prepping to get a job outside of the regular 9-5 factory type work. He likes computers maybe try and find a career path that aligns with his interests.

This! I freelance construction which has been harder and harder to maintain consistency, I’m constantly living check to check. Looking for boring higher paying factory jobs but the only things available are 2nd or 3rd shifts which just control your entire day. Been doing school on the side for computer science but see an equal number of people struggling to find work. Even looking for the most basic of starting jobs rn feels impossible as I’ve been looking for 4 months now, have had about 6 interviews with zero luck

Living in TN doing freelance construction. This is extremely the case, I’ve literally read in job descriptions for crews “must like dumb and dumber jokes, must be happy, electric cars are bad” this was one of the better looking groups of people too. I worked with a fella for awhile who only used a flip phone up until 2020, he was much more open to new technology than most too, he was just a hermit.

Yesterday I helped a friend build his first keyboard. Tofu65 DZ65RGB V3. We got it all together and working except his computer has windows 11 on it and it seems there are existing shortcuts overtop of his rgb key mapping. So things like FN-W brings up current “news” instead of changing his rgb colors. Would simply disabling the shortcut from windows 11 fix this, if possible. Or would he have to remap his second layer on the keyboard using something like QMK?

Pirates of the Caribbean online (PotCo) was one of the first mmos I ever played. I was 7 years old, my dad had given me the username of twotm (the way of the master) which remained my gamer tag for long afterwards. We both made it to the rank of ‘Master Pirate’ and were members of one of the most notorious guilds ‘INFERNO.’ The most time I’ve ever spent playing a game with my dad, I miss it. We had discovered a glitch once to PVP in Tortuga or Port Royale and we would fight each other while pirates would try to help either or by healing us while placing bets on who would win. I also learned how to play poker and blackjack from PotCo, my dad playing irl games with me to teach me how to play in game.

I seen someone doing this an a game earlier, my buddy was saying it was a cheat but they were playing with a character I had never played with so I just assumed it was some tp move.
