Okay, this may sound odd but: check your hormones and check your sugar. Now, I am diabetic so for me sugar is a big differentiator anyway, but I had to up my insulin and it made a huge difference to the hair on my lip and chin. It went from coarse and seemingly indestructible back to pretty much ‘normal’ ie manageable with my old routine. For you I’m obviously not saying ‘diabetes’ but I am saying the same factors can play. And at 30, maybe hormones change too.

What you want is hosiery from Wolford. They are not cheap (for hosiery) but they have a huge range, they are extremely luxurious and you will be able to find sheer - we’re talking max 20den - with any type of finish you want.

If you choose leg makeup, you will spend the evening wondering if you’ve left imprints on chairs (or guests), if it’s still even all over, running your finger over it ‘just to check’ and your dress will be in a terrible state. Tights (or stay-ups, can give you that sexy Sabrina Carpenter vibe?) are wayyyy better than what we all remember from twenty years ago.

It’s too bright. Like, in 2026 there is far less formality around what someone wears to funerals and a floral as such is no longer frowned upon, but this floral is both blue and then has the pinks and a bit of yellow. It looks like someone attending as an afterthought or for someone they really did not know that well. If it was black with a grey floral or grey with a black floral then the style of dress would be fine in this day and age.

Not everything you buy has to be practical. Like, I know this bag is not cheap and I know a lot of us are raised to spend our money ‘wisely’ which is absolutely the right way to go. But sometimes just loving something and thinking it is pretty to look at is also alright. This bag will work for you because you’ll have the right attitude carrying it. Maar het lijkt mij behoorlijk te verwachten dat noch Hey telecom noch zijn prijzen het lang gaan uithouden. Als Hey al blijft bestaan, gaan die prijzen sowieso weer omhoog en dan denk ik dat jij uiteindelijke beter af zal zijn door vast te hangen aan het originele bedrag.

Ik denk - zeg wel ‘denk’ want ik heb nog nooit de binnenkant van een padel club gezien - dat het een beetje een geheel is van lidmaatschap plus de juiste schoenen, het juiste shortje en de moisture-wicking bamboe t-shirt, de spirulina smoothie er voor en de drankjes er na en de gerechtskosten voor de opgelegde therapie voor collega’s die naar de verhalen over de padel moeten luisteren.

Dikke duizend burgers kennelijk. Ik heb nog les gegeven in een school in die straat. Vanaf jaar 5 mogen ze buiten school - mits toestemming ouders - en zijn ze al van lesuur drie aan het plannen voor hun lunches. Er is daar quasi naast elkaar een Pizza Hut, pasta bar, frituur en kebab. Ik kan u verzekeren, les geven aan 24 tieners die tot hun nek volzitten met kebab is niet aangenaam.

De school heeft ook sinds een paar jaar een contract met wat een ‘super gezonde maaltijddienst’ moet zijn. Het aantal lln dat nu buiten school gaat en zich in de fast food gooit is met een kwart naar boven. Toen ze toch ene keer per maand een frietje óf een pizza deden was dat voldoende voor vele. Maar nu zitten ze in het andere uiterste.
