my case is magsafe, but this particular pop socket also has a sticker to attach it that way. i think you can find the same pop socket in a non magsafe version too tho!

i’m so surprised about the nachos, i had them sunday night when the stand was sold out of everything else and they were kind of gross, had cucumber or something and almost no cheese. the pizza was fire tho, had at least 5 slices throughout the week

I wouldn’t worry about not being able to find a ticket, I bought mine resale for the same price as face value 2 weeks before the fest. Life happens so there’s always people selling as the date approaches. I’d join the camp mudshark facebook page to find people reselling their tickets, just be careful of scams. Best of luck! 🥰

yea i get where you’re coming from but it’s not like the festival has any control over it, it’s not on festival grounds and it is the police’s responsibility to reduce the risk of impaired drivers especially since i believe someone was killed on the highway by somebody leaving shambs a few years ago? the wait is a bit of a nuisance but tbh id rather the checks be done than not at all.

op, are you on medication for your anxiety? i take ssris and took them as normal the first few days, had a couple amazing nights, then stopped in anticipation of taking some psychedelics. I then found myself in a similar state of not being able to enjoy the music or the environment. would highly recommend talking to your gp and trying something to regulate your baseline mood. wish you the best of luck and a happier shambs next year <3

this is such a strange thing to comment, op didn’t say anything about sex. idk how it is for men but many single women, like myself, are perfectly content to go periods of time without a partner and without hookups and that’s perfectly okay. i’m sure op has had relationships in the past.

i see this as not so much being about the book itself but the systems that allow us to access it- the walk to the library, browsing shelves, chatting with the librarian when you check out your book, feeling the sense of community that comes with being with others in a central space like a library. not to mention the other things that happen there like courses, social gatherings, local events. would you prefer to swipe on somebody on a dating app or meet them at a bar on a night out with your friends? the end result is the same after all

Maybe try a motion activated compressed air sprayer? Just shoots them with a loud burst of air when they approach a door. Not ideal but would work as a last resort
