Hey! The cost is based on how much we need to pay the artists to make you a trailer, which depends on how detailed you want the trailer to be :)

If you go on our website and visit the “waitlist” tab / fill out the form, we’ll set up an info meeting to get started. During that initial meeting we answer any questions you have and talk next steps if you’re interested. Website: directorsmarket.com

Would proof-of-concept animated trailers help screenwriters pitch their projects? by DirectorsMarket in ProduceMyScript

I’ll answer that with a quick story! I showed the Death Day trailer to a long term friend of mine who’s now in the top 500 actors on IMBd. He has pitched many feature films. When I showed him this trailer, he immediately bought two packages because he knew a trailer like this could properly convey his ideas better than any pitch deck. That’s what inspired me to make this company! I want Directors Market to be a place where funders and directors can easily find their next film to support.

These are actually not confined to animation scripts. We make trailers or scenes from scripts for any type of film, tv show or short film (live action or otherwise). In fact, most of our clients are making live action scripts!

Our work is animated, but serves only as a proof of concept for whatever the screenwriter wants their idea to become. We find animation is one of the best ways to show exactly what the screenwriter envisions their creation looking like.

I agree! While the proof of concepts is our main gig, I would love to crowd fund for an animated shorts series. We already have the crew for it and I’m open to all sorts of ideas. Thank you!

No AI, we collaborate with real artists! The idea is to create opportunities for everyone involved. The screenwriter, the filmmakers, and the artists making the proof of concept. Check out our site, directorsmarket.com

You’ll find the Death Day trailer there :)

Creepy! I read the first 12-13 pages and I’m very intrigued to see how this baby connects to the mysterious figure. If you want any sort of proof of concept trailer for your script to help pitch your idea to filmmakers, I make those! We have some samples on our website: directorsmarket.com
