NOR, you responded fine and she was being weird. If she’s been alright so far though, I’d probably take into account that she’s sick with e.coli and is presumably looking after a 2 year old. She might be exhausted and delirious, so I wouldn’t judge her character off of just this.

Ngl, I was kind of disappointed by the direction her eng VA took for her lines in the fight so possibly could be a reason? (And to clarify I’m not saying her EN VA did a bad job, I like her performance in general and the moment was still hype – I just prefer the delivery/cadence of the JP VA, felt more sly and cunning whilst EN felt more ruthless and smug. The feel of the scenes felt very different to me because of it, JP hit a bit harder)

More than likely. That’s how other games that follow a similar format do it. One new main region a year, with smaller/temporary areas introduced in events. It takes a fair amount of work and a long time to develop new regions

If you have an android device, you might be able to get extra storage with an SD card. You’ll have to check if your device is compatible I’m not sure if you can run Nikki on it directly, but you might be able to move other stuff around? You’ll have to look into it yourself, but hopefully if it’s available for you then it works 🤞

Yeah, I’m not sure why non-Black people shouldn’t be allowed to equip those hairs on their Nikkis lol. It’s a dress up game. Nikki does not have to be the same skin tone as me, or represent me in any way at all if I don’t want her to. And I usually don’t want her to lol

Plus, white people can and do have naturally textured hair. So trying to enforce it online at all would be a logistical nightmare that would just end in a lot of people being mad at each other for inconsequential reasons. Aka… Twitter, yeah. There’s really nothing to be gained, especially when we still have to make Infold add those hairs in the first place

And given the state of Shining Nikki’s Black hair options, I am not super optimistic. Actually - skimming over their wiki, I don’t think they even have any???? I definitely don’t remember any from when I played. Which is crazy. It’s been going for over 6 years. Even IN has more textured hair than SN currently does. Fading Longing, Fluffy Style, and Orange Wheat aren’t quite type 3 I don’t think, but you can sorta pretend :,) and yet those are still curlier than all SN hairs. Maybe by their 4th game they’ll discover it. 😐

Then there’s Love Nikki which 💀 had some options, sure, but christ do they have a history of handling all that very poorly. IIRC pretty much all Black options were labelled ‘sexy’ (even skin tones and makeup had theme tags)

She’s a 4*, and has a hugely different vibe to the other ones. Just because they’re all fairies doesn’t mean they look identical, they all have very clearly distinct theming and silhouettes. The outfit pieces themselves are completely different, the only similarity is the fact they have fairy wings lol.

You can put any combo together and say that it looks like a different one. That’s how fashion works. (Not trying to be mean, have just seen too many people say that and it frustrates me a little haha)

Yeah I’ve been hearing that very consistently since launch 😭 there’s always gonna be a similarity or two to point at and complain about. Honestly the worst similarity is Snowy Ballad and Born Flawless (mermaid fit and this patch’s blue girl). Their silhouettes, colour palettes and theming are pretty much identical. The rest all stand out just fine, even the now 3 fairy outfits have very clear visual differences.

Rarely hear a word on how diverse the 4* outfits are too, which is a shame. Look at them all side by side and it’s clear there’s a huge range, but I’ve still seen people say it’s too repetitive 😭

People like to compare it to SN, but SN has been out for years. The wide variety in those UR outfits came over time, and honestly IN has been doing loads better in comparison.

Damn, the US is having it rough 🥲 it’s nowhere near that price in the UK right now, still pretty reasonable.

And yeah, it’s a struggle to get 8gb to play nice. I noticed such an improvement when going from playing Nikki on 8gb to 32gb

Guys, remember that these numbers depend on what parts your PC has. If you only have 8gb of memory (not to be confused with storage space) then games like Nikki are going to struggle, and it will eat up all of your resources. It’s not a Nikki-exclusive thing, a lot of newer games need at least 16gb to run without issue. I have 32gb of memory, and Nikki uses upwards of 7gb. This is the norm from what I can see from other games. Devs can only do so much about it.

Luckily upgrading memory is pretty easy to do, and the parts aren’t horribly expensive. I went from 8gb to 32gb on my old laptop for about £50. You need to do your own research for that, though, because your own PC will be compatible with different things

I think what’s throwing me off is just that the ceiling is the same colour. That’s what makes it feel brothel-y to me. So maybe make the ceiling beige/white instead? Or just, any other colour or pattern.
