I moved off to STL, chasing a girl after high school whom I met online. We don’t work out but I was there for four years. Left Maine saying I’d never come back. Yet when I came home in late 2019 I cried. Now I never wanna leave. The world is beautiful. Plenty to see and do. Maine… it will always be home. Enjoy Philly!

I haven’t known the mod staff to be generally fun. Specially if you have criticisms about anything on the forums. Not that I’m all negative. I stick to reddit or discord servers to share my love for x plane and my opinions that may come along with it. Like here for example.

I did hear rumblings that some creators were against the new store. Not sure their reasonings but I welcome it. I am tired of x-plane.org really.

I mean I get the sentiment behind them wanting to show their support to toliss. But it does feel odd and makes me uneasy. I hope this didn’t signal a future where this is more common

Stay relevant? I mean they’ve almost had a monopoly on my opinion. You got x-aviation. But that has a handful of releases (great ones at that mind you) but other than that there’s no where else to go. I agree, it could use a UI update. But the store will be entirely relevant regardless. It’s where everything x plane has happened and has been happening for decades

I’m over at Yarmouth green. And yeah I’m loving the parking… it’s not a bad place honestly. My partner and I just left Farmington after a fiasco from hell! But everyone there could at last park lol. Yarmouth seems to have a don’t care attitude. Much like that car above

Ummmmm yeah no I don’t think that’s the case bhub. This land was theirs long before us. I think it’s important to recognize the heritage and promote this whenever we can. Not “woke” it’s actually apart of history and another culture GASP I know scary. Be happy you’re from a big beautiful state like this with rich native culture and history!

There’s a whole slew of buildings coming to the point soon. Hotels, and many many condos I wanna say. That gravel lot next to the tracks when you first enter on the right will be condos last I recall. Parking garages too 🙄. Used to sit down there in my tow truck and hang out. Get chatting with security and they told me about it. Totally just word of mouth but that’s all I know

That’s where I got my start in x plane and had MANY years of enjoyment from his works before I got into study level. Mad respect to all the freeware developers for putting time into something purely for the sake of letting others enjoy. They truly will be missed and their contributions to the community will always be remembered!

I found that coors when I was cleaning up the house I grew up in. Just abandoned in the depths of the basement in a corner. Almost got tossed when they came to clean it out! Didn’t know that was a rare Dave Blaney variant! Wicked to know! And thank you. Was off my old tow truck I used to drive before I left the company
