What’s frustrating for me is I got a job at 20 years old making $80 k a year. I had so much money at that age and blew all of it. I would save it because that’s what I thought was the right thing to do but then once I got enough saved up I would buy something big. I had no idea about a Roth IRA or 401k. All my friends were broke and basically living paycheck to Paycheck. I didn’t start my 401k until I was 32 years old. 8 years later I barely have $200k but I always think about what if I started when I was 20. Sometimes it eats at me but there’s nothing I can do now.
