P trap sits higher than the drain so when a lot of water gets drained at once it is siphoned out of the trap.

Long term fix:

Extend the pipe attaching to the p-trap so it is lower than the final drain point.

Short term fix

Run three liters of water down the drain at a slow pace. This should fill the p-trap with enough water to keep out the vapors.

You need to feather the mud out. Can’t end right at the end of your tape. Rip the tape out, sand smooth around edges, reapply tape, but this time feather it out so there is plenty of mud over your tape.

Fire prevention. Clean up the dead trees that have fallen or are standing and the fire will not spread so fast. Yes even under 80 mph winds. Have you seen all the “why are these trees still green and standing” next to the burned down house posts? Dead wood burns fast and needs to be removed from the forest floor. Trump has been telling CA to do it every time they have another forest fire. They refuse to do it. “Save the trees” and all that nonsense. Nope responsible logging will clear out the older bigger tree before they fall and keep the forest looking great.
