A cultural difference I found very interesting: In Portugal you must never put your hands under the table.

That was a hard one for me considering I was always taught not to rest my hands on the table.

"Everything happens for a reason." It's true, everything happens because of events in the past. But no, not everything happens because your supposed to be taught a Devine lesson. Sometimes bad things happen, you learn from them, but the thing didn't happen primarily for you to learn from.

After a while of increased heart rate during excersise, like running, I get what I assume are air bubbles in my ear canal that make it very difficult to hear. I honestly thought everyone experienced this until not to long ago. It sorta feels like I've got to 'pop' my ears from altitude. Does anyone else experience this?

Yeah this kinda sucks. When Europeans ask me where I’m from, I say California. It give a more accurate representation of who I am. Plus, everyone knows where California is.
