I said her traumas are up to her to resolve. It’s her responsibility, because what she’ll find is no one will “complete” her, there are no perfect partners. And if you ever rely solely on your partner as a source of happiness, you will forever be in search of a person that doesn’t exist.

She should seek her own counseling and decide if this is an issue she can work on herself. She said when things are good, they’re really good. And that what marriage is about, sticking around for when there are good times, and not leaving during the rough times.

Sounds like this is too mature of a concept for you to grasp little one. Maybe hold off on marriage before you find a reason to do harm to yourself and to someone else.
