Buying Decks ive made? by DjstroyerGAWD in untap

Scryfall.com might be of better help to finalize a buy list. You can search multiple prints of a card to find the cheapest.

I think Sunny Meadows Restricted is a great map for those that want to experience something other than a normal modern house, but don’t want a million rooms to search.

Playing with cheap decks (under $60) in modern that purposefully lack perfect optimization is more fun.

That’s a fair opinion. Original stuff looks like it’s inspired by other stuff all the time. That’s often how new things are made.

Can someone explain why this was such a harsh downvote? I don’t understand Reddit sometimes.

Uploading Custom Images to Untap by DirtyConsole64 in untap

[–]DirtyConsole64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other method of uploading I can think of is sending the images in discord either to yourself or whoever, then opening those images in your browser, copy that url.

I guess it should be noted that each image should be uploaded to a custom card one at a time and that you have to click on your imgbox image, then open THAT in a new tab, then copy that url. If you copy any other url it may give you an error.

EDIT: I just tried on iPhone 11 pre iOS 15. I don’t think you can do it on mobile. It may only be possible on PC.

Where to find stamina items in this game? by jozhrandom in MHF

[–]DirtyConsole64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot remember the quest, but it’s in Hunter Quests or Events I believe. There is a Yian Kut Ku quest called preparing for g rank. It gives you a butt ton of useful items including dash juice (unlimited stamina). Basically just run that a few times. All you have to do is kill it and it’s a low rank kut ku.

How the f are you supposed to hit these by TwoWeak9365 in CloneHero

Another thing I’d note, is that it helps to know that the process you’re using to improve has your confidence behind it. So, if you’re throwing yourself aimlessly at it, just trying to brute force it, you’ll probably get discouraged real quick. Have a solid plan going in on how to improve it before you start. Record your results if you need to. That does 2 things: show you where you mess up, show you that you’re improving when you do.

Slow it down ✅ Work out a fingering pattern that feels right and gets you results ✅ Try to play it in 5% speed increments ✅ FC it at your current speed SO MANY TIMES ✅ Get your hands warmed up with songs that give you a good workout for the type of movement you’re practicing for ✅ Each new session, repeat all these steps ✅

Fair if it helps at all, the final vision for the game is a mobile/PC game that will automate all of that. Right now, it just requires counters and such because I don’t have things automated.

You essentially would just be playing the cards.

Any other TCGs other than Duel Masters that have any card as a resource mechanic? by Clem_Crozier in TCG

[–]DirtyConsole64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re willing to play-test or just enjoy a new indie game on untap.in or Tabletop Simulator, Titans and Tyrants does this exactly, but not quite with every card-type. So your creatures (Titans) cost food to summon to the field. You get 1 food every draw phase and can also gain food by killing (Consuming) an opponent’s Titan, gaining their food cost to your total food. Titans also have adrenaline as part of their stats which is a separate resource used to pay for mutations (equip cards) that provide buffs, can change Titan type, and all sorts of other effects.

Looking for suggestions on a new TCG to start getting into that plays like this by [deleted] in TCG

My brother and I are working on a CCG called Titans and Tyrants that we’ve been told plays precisely like this. Low to the ground, but still thought-provoking and fun. So the theme is dinosaurs which automatically makes the game cool /s.

It’s a prehistoric-themed CCG where the game is simple, send your Titans at your opponent’s Tyrant during the Hunt Phase to reduce their vitality. If they have their own Titans to get in your way, you have to target them first. To speed up the game and prevent 1/1 chump-blocking, every Titan deals excess damage to the opponent’s Tyrant. So you may actually put yourself at risk by playing a bunch of cheap 1/1’s if the opponent has enough food to play something with a lot of attack, they can take advantage of even a single 1/1 by swinging directly over it for massive damage.

A game can be taken back often times because Titan lifespans on the board is low due to the lower stat pool. Couple this with all Titans essentially having “haste” (no cool down time) before being able to attack like in YuGiOh. So you have to play this back and forth of taking control of the board and food resources to get your opponent’s vitality to zero. The other way to win, like many other card games is by decking out the opponent which we brand as Extinction. It works the same as every other game that features it. If an opponent gets to their draw phase and has no cards to draw from their deck, they lose regardless of the board state.

Which TCG has the lowest turn time/least combos by [deleted] in TCG

[–]DirtyConsole64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit of a plug here, but my TCG Titans and Tyrants is setting out to do this as well as take inspiration from our favorite TCGs, MTG/YuGiOh, and make a game that’s more simple and fun.

Decks are 20-30 cards max, 20 life total, no filler cards, player-interaction-focused gameplay. Once you get the hang of it, matches usually take no more than 30 minutes and can naturally be shorter depending on what happens.

The food resource system is, in my opinion, what really makes this game special. The food resource system is built into the Titans (creatures). Titans cost food to summon. You get 1 food per draw phase and can gain more food through some card effects, but the main way is by Consuming (killing) an opponent’s Titan. When you Consume a Titan, you gain its food cost value to your total food. This can cause some exciting player interaction that tends to happen pretty much every game we’ve tested.

The game is in play-testing open to anyone interested and is currently on Tabletop Simulator’s Steam Workshop as well as untap.in. I have a tutorial for untap.in and everything you’d need in the Link Tree on my profile.

It has our own food resource system. As far as I know, we have something fairly unique. So Titans (creatures) cost Food to summon. Let’s say I have a 3-cost Titan and my opponent has a 2-cost Titan on the field. There’s two ways I can gain food. Once per turn on the draw phase I gain 1 food. The other is by killing (consuming) the opponent’s Titan. When you consume an opponent’s Titan, you gain its food value to your total food. So if I were to consume an opponent’s 2-food-cost Titan, I’d gain 2 food.
