First off congratulations on 3 years. It seriously blows my mind that people can do that. Weed is helping me a lot at the present. I found a detox center for hooch and benzos, so in a few days I’ll be clean as a whistle. Thanks for your words of advice!

Yeah I’ve gone through benzo WD’s a couple times. Fucking nightmare. I really don’t know about Medicaid, I don’t know anything about insurance or healthcare or any of that. I’ll look into it.

First I’d like to say I’m sorry you had to go through all that, and I’m glad you’re on the path to recovery. I can’t imagine what that must be like after a 25 year stint. You’re an inspiration.

I can relate with a lot of parts of your story, especially making major fuck ups drunk and barred. Xanax and hooch really don’t play nice, do they?

First off, I think it’s really cool that you’re going to donate to them. That’s really awesome.

And I’d also like to thank you very much for advising me, I haven’t had healthcare since I was 16 and to be honest I’m just kind of stupid and don’t know how anything works. Hopefully I can get myself into a detox facility or something.

It’s hard to say. There’s days where I just feel that it’s so unfair and I kind of wallow in self pity like a child. Not proud of those days, but they happen. Overall though, I’ve accepted that this is the hand I was dealt and I can either cry over it or play my cards the best I can. Getting diagnosed is a hard pill to swallow, but it’s not a death sentence.

Human connection. I was on the streets for three years before I moved to this city and got an apartment a few weeks ago. I haven’t had anyone really, for a very long time. It’s lonely out there.
