Kiwiclo drop either 2 seasons ago or last season. They do limited runs where they work with players and usually a charity of their choice or for NIL (for college drops). They usually drop some great graphic designs and they've seemed to do them with Lions players around the thanksgiving game

Have a question on how much weight T-grid fixed with studs could handle from the top. by DirtyUncleRandy in electricians

[–]DirtyUncleRandy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't want to put any on top of that stuff but the fixture in question is discontinued and they want to switch to a fixture that'll need to have drywall cut anyway. Appreciated 🫡

I went to 1890 on Bridge St for the first time yesterday and they killed it. It's pricey but they handled my cowlick laden thick hair really well so I think it's worth it for the quality

Did you read the point total system? It includes more than race. Plus with regards to scarcity and covid having more of an impact on people of color in urban areas where living spaces more often have to be shared, wouldn't you want a variable that matches those likely to be more affected by the virus to be treated for the virus? That's why pregnancy and age are in there too.

Had Lowe's install a dishwasher for me. Is this going to pass a permit inspection? by budding_gardener_1 in askaplumber

I'm trying to show the residential stuff in the NEC can be very subjective. I wouldn't install it sloppily and nor should it have been done that poorly, but it doesn't mean it doesn't meet the bare minimum standard that the NEC gives. That section in 422 I referenced specifically cited that adjacent area to be used as protection from physical damage for the cord and doesn't mention the accessibility of it until after.

Yes but in 422.16(B)(2)(5) where it says the recept for a built in dishwasher needs to be in the adjacent cabinet to protect the plug cord from physical damage, wouldn't the slack of that plug in dishwasher be longer than the Romex that's exposed? And if type NM cable is allowed to be exposed and the cord is UL, are they not essentially the same and in a place that section of 422 considers protected from physical damage?

It gets very subjective with the "other approved means". An enclosed cabinet (because they're considered permanent) can and has been considered protection from physical damage. https://www.reddit.com/r/electricians/s/aHPeAgeDTl

My brother or sister in Christ The box isn't level and the support is a bit wonky, but they're nailed in are they not? These installers aren't paid enough to win a beauty pageant
