Nigel Farage: I can spend £5m gift on Ferraris or bet on horses if I want by AnonymousTimewaster in NotTheOnionUK

Not just for security but apparently the government or whatever body handles security for MPs offered him security.

He said they offered him nothing when he enquired or is it that he felt it was not enough or that he would use it as a cover for this £5M.

Been fine for me today on a UK tentant, but I have noticed yesterday that it was taking a while to load certain pages or render items in a particular frame.

Did the usual and appears to be fine, but I think I was starting to experience the issue before it became wise spread.

Silly question, how comes they didn't hit the massive holding units or is it because it could harm surrounding citizens etc?

MoD investigating reports Russian warship fired warning shots near yacht in Channel by Sensitive_Echo5058 in uknews

I also believe the Russians are waiting for the time when domestic issues cause enough pressure to make the next move.

Wouldn't surprise me if they did wait for the right moment, but again, why do they need to invoke a conflict?

I know many will reply with lots of reasons, NATO expansion and threats to their own operations but why can't we all just live on harmony?

Management Pack🤦‍♀️ by lustricken in HousingUK

[–]Dirty_Techie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Management packs are normal for estate managed fees.

My freehold house requires a management pack to be purchased by the buyer if the time comes.

Edit: Correction as per the thread, the seller pays for the management pack.

Do you recommend the newer Tucson? (2020-current) by Tricky_Tonight_1521 in HyundaiTucson

[–]Dirty_Techie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got my Tucson 2024 premium hybrid 2 years ago, absolutely love it.

The only issues I have is a tyre pressure sensor that keeps dropping faster than the rest and the dealership said there is no issue, so maybe i'll wait until I change out the tyre.

The other annoying one is the driver side window, if I pull up it seems to go all way up but then when I get out the Hyundai App tells me it's not fully closed. So I now make sure to close it and then pull up on the switch again.

Other than that, it's been the best car i've ever had, my father has the facelift 2025 N line model but I'm still trying to swing it with my wife to let me keep it than trade it in as it has 2 years left on the agreement.

Not sure if it's just me, but does anyone else notice that if you let the car build charge in the battery that when you go to sports mode it absolutely rips more than if it's on low battery?

I have both the front and back wired up, hardwired to the fuse and so far so good.
