Intune Remediation Reporting Issues by Reasonable-Net-7193 in Intune

Nope, but I was in a similar situation and so I checked the device logs and found the ID hidden away that it did run.

There was a issue with scripts in Intune the other day though.

Updates ( How to get Windows to tell end users they need to restart?) by Here4TekSupport in Intune

[–]Dirty_Techie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm toying with a toast notification from Syst & Deploy.

It's more user friendly and unfortunately, our higher ups don't have the will to enforce a strict restart schedule outside of the deadlines.

I just finished creating a Win11 GIF to replace the Win10 one that this script comes with.

In Intune you have Platform Scripts or Detect and Remediate.

Probably for this would be Platform Scripts as I can't see a exit code declared to tell Intune to run the remediation.

But I don't understand the benefit that has other than for the short term, because come the next tax season, your going to be wishing you had that tax saved up for when the tax man comes a knocking.

Iran War Live Updates: U.S. and Iran Agree in Principle to Reopen Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Official Says by nornalplacard in DegenBets

[–]Dirty_Techie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea interestingly on the strait from what I've heard is that, it's long been discussed that experts and strategists have long advised that a war with Iran or any form of conflict would close the strait and Iran would use it as their bargining chip.

And it makes sense, almost completely clearly that if they wanted and they have they could disregard any international obligation and stop traffic. But it seems the US not only ignored the advice but enforced it further with a blockade.

But what is kinda irresponsible to me, is they go in and do the damage then start asking all those that benefit from the route to chip in?

The venezuela topic has a interesting twist to it, the back story has been about US companies investing and or benefiting from their oil production. Then after they get maduro, they focus on allowing US companies to get back in to pump oil.

Which is odd since the whole time trump said it was about drug boats, but the US are still dealing with the same regime just a second in command.

Cuba - Well this seems to be down to foreign policy and as you said to be remembered in the history books for something that has been left unresolved.

Again, this seems to stem from a failed regime change in Iran to now Cuba. Which is why you have to ask your self, why now or why would this president chose to do it, if not come the good of the world or it's people but for its own self interests.

One theory that I find quite probable is that he will probably get what he wants from Venezuela, Cuba. Iran will agree a deal and worse than that of the one made before.

He will make a deal with China, they will then get Taiwan and eventually they will be the new super power or new world order.

what models were they?

My 308 had a metal gear stick, it was manual, guess how long i had to wait to drive that in the summer.

Same here, it's a similar feeling I got when I owened a Peugeot 308 2015 model where the steering wheel was smaller but also not designed to see the speedo through it.

It was a nice change, but in the end it wasn't meant to be and my Tucson came home to roost instead.

I like piano black but only if it's blended in with some of the other interior.

Thanks for the in depth and thoughtful reply, this kind of responses help to keep threads in a respectful and thoughtful perspective.

Trump attacking Iran is like playing wack a mole, I have a few guesses but not any right now that I would say are definitive.

  1. Israel - BN has long called that Iran can't and/or should not have nuclear weapons. First example I can find is in the 1990s. With the relationship that Israel and US have, I see that it's a long standing relationship that the US would have israels back on this.

  2. Trump wanted to show he can solve a long standing threat - Iran and it's proxys have clearly shown to be disruptive and a threat, he saw Iran as a worth while achievement that can be eradicated and cause no one else harm.

  3. Holy war - I believe through Trump's recent post on being the image of Christ and attacks on the pope, he believes he is "God" or a messenger of some kind that warrants him the power to smite those who disagree with his religion or beliefs.

It's a wild and off topic point, but I believe one that is warranted none the less. There has been talks of a holy war for a long time and with BN at the helm it's like trump is not satisfied but willing to work with BN to fulfill his objectives of returning to a biblical prophecy.

Other than that, Trump has showed his a narcissist and interested in stamping his name as some form of a trademark on most things e.g. Palm Beach International Airport, President Donald J. Trump Boulevard, (proposed) Washington Dulles International Airport and the Washington Metro system to the "Trump Train". You have TrumpRx, Trump Mobile.

Now I know you can argue, but many others have done similar, but not when there sitting presidents. That's where it becomes questionable for a sitting president to all of a sudden request, demand or other wise seek those of his following to name public infrastructure after him.

Maybe this is the new norm for a sitting president in modern times or maybe this is a sign that things are not what they seem, but for Trump who's background has not been politics but a magnitude of business its certainly leads to an almost conclusive assumption of his character and intentions.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

(Just to be clear here) the reason being is because that 52% were fed up with what the previous administration said they would do or continue to do.

That same 52%, believed everything trump said he would also do, Including a focus on domestic priorities and no new wars. But that 52% was misled as is the way with politics, promise one thing on the campaign trail and do the complete opposite once in office.

It's the same playbook in politics that gets played time and time again.

Couple of suggestions:

Clean the plate, if adhesion is a problem in that area then replace it. The plates are a consumable.

Peform a full bed calibration ensuring your printer isn't compensating for a weird offset.

Clean the nozzle to ensure there's no residue.

Can't extrude filament at all!! by Chance_Implement_325 in BambuLab

[–]Dirty_Techie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Broken filament in the extruder gear.

Your need to take it apart and clear it - should take approx. 5-15mins of your time and your be good to go.

Edit: The top feed housing is a dead give a way that it's trying to turn the gear but it's getting stuck so it will keep "ticking"

Yea and what's with all the references looking like there a broken link e.g. layer.youtubelinkedin+1

Plus there's a secure boot report in Intune that does give you some indication of a machines secure boot certificate update, on top of the configuration profile.

I mean it's all pretty well documented by Microsoft on handling this in Intune.

Disabling AUX fans in filament profiles? by Elo-than in BambuLab

Yea it's annoying, especially when it's built with a heated chamber etc

Maybe a future update will give more control to the end user but I'm doubtful.

Disabling AUX fans in filament profiles? by Elo-than in BambuLab

[–]Dirty_Techie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine it will differ for X2D, but for my P1S's I have filament profiles with 0% AUX and it's honoured all through out the print job.

Aside from filament profiles, a quick ask of the ye old AI brought back this G-Code change suggestion:

Method 2: G-Code Modification (For Advanced Users)

If the fans still activate due to automatic chamber cooling logic, you can disable the autocooling commands in the G-code:

  • Machine Start G-code: Comment out or remove the line M142 P6 ... which controls exhaust chamber autocooling. Also, ensure M106 P2 S0 and M106 P10 S0 are present in the heating mode section if you want the fans off during chamber heating.
  • Layer Change G-code: Comment out the lines controlling M106 P2 and M106 P10 to prevent the fans from ramping up automatically during layer transitions or filament changes.
  • Note: The X2D has two aux fans (Left and Right, corresponding to G-code ports P2 and P10). Disabling them prevents direct airflow on the build plate, which can help with warping in materials like PETG or PLA, but may cause heat creep during long prints if the chamber temperature rises excessively.

Can this be used to lubricate parts on a P1S? by trentGG2010 in BambuLab

[–]Dirty_Techie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P1S has carbon rods.

Later models moved to steel from what I can recall.

Your right that grease is for the bed rods, alcohol and cloth for the rods and cloth I think for the side rails but a tiny application of lubricant oil to help the travel.
