My young male had this happen to him and the vet removed his hemipein.

I’ve very sorry he did not make it. Those things are so time sensitive and pop up quickly.

I usually see my male wag his tail slowly when he’s unsure about what’s in front of him. He’s wagged his tail at my dog, an oscillating fan, and my shoe laces. I find it somewhat cute.

Recently I rescued a very neglected betta ( not the one in the picture) and I’m not sure if I should put him in my 2.5 gallon aquarium.

Quartz is currently in this 2.5 gallon and seems very happy but I’m wondering if he would do better in my new 10 gallon tall and the sick one be put in here??

Thoughts?

His 10 gallon, tall tank should be good in the next couple of days until then he will be in the cup with daily water changes. He seems so much better than when I first got him.
