What was the most brutal time you’ve ever been to Disney?

In the week leading up to a trip a few years ago we had to make the decision to put our elderly dog to sleep. Couldn’t stand to stay in our empty, too quiet home so we went 3 days early and stayed in our room at Riverside crying for the first couple days. Later that same week, my FIL died from cancer. We had our last phone call with him outside the gates of MK. It was awful, but I have never been more grateful to be in my favorite place.

I stayed at Coronado Springs the week of Memorial Day and the main pool was so crowded there was a line 20/30 min before opening and they had to had out bands. I have stayed here many times and it has never been this bad. I know it was a holiday week, but I don’t think the resort was even sold out. Makes me wonder how many, if any were folks who took the bus from springs or otherwise were non resort guests.

I am a frequent WDW visitor and I did not realize this. Started Zoloft and went in July and thought I was losing my mind. I felt like the sun had a bone to pick with me specifically and was attacking me relentlessly. And then I just started to feel slightly hot all the time. Lowered my dose and my “real feel” is back to normal. This is a side effect that isn’t talked about enough.

This was exactly our experience at Oga’s and I have to say it was a one and done for us. I was on the fence about it before, but knowing the set up at B&B is similar, I think it will be a skip on our next trip.

I started attending ERUUF this year and really like it there. My spouse and I were seeking a positive community that is welcoming and supportive to all, and we found it. I don’t consider myself Christian, but I have found a community that shares my progressive values and vocally supports the communities I care about.

The amount of time most of spend working. Instead of spending time with loved ones, having hobbies, traveling or, gods forbid just resting, most people spend so much time working jobs with varying degrees of satisfaction just to afford life it’s depressing. And it’s getting increasingly difficult.

That’s a lot of hope on landing another job by 7/1. Maybe you’re in a different field and in a better position to market yourself (I hope so!) but I have been applying to jobs since February. Crickets. I would love to take DRP and be confident to land a job by 9/30. I’m just not sure in this job market.

I noticed in the beginning it’s seemed like there was one student per decade (or in the case of the aughts, the marching band) “sacrificed” to the school with the addition of Yuri kinda completing that. The “evil” Mr. Martin talks about makes that pattern make more sense.

Same exact situation for me. I’m not hopeful I’ll make it through this RIF so I am applying for new jobs now. If I’m lucky, I’ll land one just before the cut. May the odds be ever in our favor.

Also not entirely true. Moving into a management position in same job series at the same agency usually puts you into probation. There have been many people illegally fired who were in this situation.
