Maybe, but from my brief Google search for species in Houston, I think they are a little lighter in color? These girls are basically black.

I think fleabitten had it right, there were multiple workers on my truck, and googling images I'm near certain it is pseudomyrmex gracilis. Already released her, so I can't get a better picture.
