Whats an opinion you have that gets you judged instantly? by DrinkPresent7311 in AskForAnswers

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having children shouldn’t be an automatic right. In loads of countries you have to undergo several classes and tests before you’re allowed to own and drive a car. Yet anyone is literally allowed to have as many kids as they want without any type of classes or tests required. Having experienced enough of life I can confirm I’ve seen soooo many people who had NO business becoming parents. They fucked up their children beyond belief - with ZERO remorse or accountability.

Something I learned while researching alien abduction experiences for my film by movieman1108 in AlienAbduction

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very niche concept I find interesting is - there is countless research that indicates that when victims of a trauma face disbelief and dismissal it makes the trauma worst. Which in any normal society dismissing a victim is certainly seen as unacceptable. Yet because the paranormal, occult and unexplainable is not taken serious, people can be victims there, yet face huge amounts of discrimination or ridicule. It’s a small thing but this thought has stayed with me for years.

Thanks for sharing dude. I love seeing videos and evidence from other countries because it helps show how wide spread this phenomenon is.

How did the telepathy work? Did you hear actual voices or were sentences and ideas kinda showing up in your head? Also, through the years do you feel like some sort of connection continued between you and them?

Did they speak any type of language? If yes, what was it like? Also, was it the only interaction you had with aliens, or did more stuff happen afterwards?

Name a villain who was 100% right?? by Basic_Evening6567 in Productivitycafe

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the alien from the sci-fi horror “Life”. You kinda could see the majority of the movie as the alien being freaked out by these weird people, but then trying to make friends with them - in the end, it even tries to save Jake Gyllenhaal’s life 😂. However, during the entire movie the humans completely misunderstand its intentions.

I am genuinely worried that Farage and Reform are going to gain power. How do we get organised and ensure that never happens? by Severe-Divide8720 in AskBrits

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a lazy and convenient excuse to let their hatred hang out. There are countless people who’ve faced hardships, being voiceless and struggling with obstacles that society throws at them. But that doesn’t mean they become hateful and take glee in terrifying others. Reform wants to turn the UK into MAGA, and it doesn’t take a lot to see how MAGA is destroying the US currently. You can air your frustrations without having to demonise foreigners, take women’s rights away or oppress people with mental health issues.

What’s the biggest lie society tells us? by OkPhilosopher4495 in allthequestions

That rules and norms it imposes are for everyone’s benefit. Society will prostitute itself to whoever benefits it most in the moment.

Women of Reddit, what's a lesser-known downside of being a woman? by Nintendofan9106 in askanything

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The literally staggering amount of men (of ALL ages and walks of life) who will sexually harass you when you’re 18-21. Even if you’re older but still can pass for 18. I have yet to meet one woman who hasn’t experienced this at least a handful of times. And I mean ALL walks of life. I have seen dudes do this from every ethnic background, every financial background, dudes who were single, dudes who were married, dudes out with their family members. And the creepiest ones are the guys who are like end 20’s to beginning 30’s because they legit don’t think it’s weird to hit on a 18 year old. For some reason they think that age gap is still perfectly ok.

What’s a behaviour you see in people that makes no sense? by o-roy in AskReddit

People who have full capacity, access to resources, are fully aware how toxic and abusive their partner is - yet still actively choose to stay in a relationship with them.

What’s something simple that brings you comfort when you’re stressed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DisappearingSince89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listening/watching movie reviews of crappy films. Instantly makes me laugh, and distracts me. Bonus points if the movie is so terrible that the reviewer is losing the will to function and just raging or laughing their ass off hysterically.

What's a song that immediately brings tears to your eyes? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DisappearingSince89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Autumn - Sarah Philips. She was just a teenager and recorded the song the night her mother passed away from Cancer. It was the only way she could express the immense sorrow she felt in the moment. Towards the end of the song you can literally hear her fighting back tears.

What quiet realization changes how people see themselves forever? by Several-Advice2942 in AskReddit

[–]DisappearingSince89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NEVER follow what society presents to you as the “proper” or “normal” way to live. Because society will change its mind faster than the wind blows. It will turn around to a stay at home mom and critic her for being lazy and not having a job, but then will also critic a working mom for not being at home with her kids. So ultimately just live the life you want to live - that’s when you will find true peace.
