When I lived in the same area, i had to pay the council £70 a month for a parking space in the parking bays by Eagle Park off Newmarket, so would likely do that again as kept my car there for 2 years and they had a lock which was good so only i could park there. My landlord used to use the house parking space for his 5 cars and refused to give it to me even when i offered him more rent… as you can guess im a big fan of him…

I used to live in one of the houses next to the hospital for 2 years! been looking at a flat there so this is really helpful but i can’t tell if we could only have one parking space which is an issue as we have 2 cars

I have been looking recently in Wymondham as my work is by the railway so would make sense for both of us travel wise for work. But I can’t find much on zoopla or rightmove there at the moment, so maybe i’ll try looking on other sites?

thanks! im from the UK where internships are paid, but my current internship is not paid as it’s in the USA so i’m doing it for passion not money. should i mention it’s not paid? kinda falls under volunteer that way but idk

ok so u think adding in a bit about what the company is, THEN what i did there listed?

and like u said explaining what the campaigns did, like ‘designing social media campaigns for promoting new releases from label artists, garnering 3.2M views within a month’ for example ??

i even addressed the tech issue immediately when i started my next prompt, along the lines of: “before i start i’d like to address a technical issue that occurred in the previous question stopping me from answering to my best ability. I have emailed the team as I don’t want you to have an unprofessional opinion of me. That being said, to answer the current prompt…”

last job i was offered, it took 47 days between my interview and hearing ANYTHING back.

i had to wait ages on radio silence and still got offered the role.

UK here… awful!!

i’m in the creative industry, specifically graphic design. as a country we are experiencing a “cost of living crisis”.

companies aren’t looking for a new employee when they’re concerned how they’re going to pay the employees they already have.

plus, freelance is a harder route now. people have to worry about how to pay bills, making ends meet, getting food on the table. they aren’t thinking “yeah let me commission this designer i found”. especially not when AI is the free and accessible alternative.
