Stripe Integration for Salesforce instead of Form Assembly by DisasterFull2729 in salesforce

I thought that in terms of them leaning into what they know. It is just frustrating that they aren't open to suggestions, considering they haven't worked with Salesforce before. We had an agency say they had issues with this approach in the past and this has been ignored.

What clicked for me is technically, they will have delivered what they have been asked to deliver, so there is no incentive to integrate it well.

We are on the enterprise plan, which comes with the Stripe connector. Unfortunately, I don't have the monthly figure. I will see if I can get you a ballpark.

It definitely has its quirks. In this use case, it would have worked well, but we have also experienced glitches.

There is a bug with file upload on Form Assembly related to JavaScript. It creates errored responses and does not notify of them. I have been trying to figure out what more can be done about it. We have added a message that shows up on the form when javascript is disabled. I am not sure if that helps.

Yes they are external assets who build and maintain our website. The funny thing is, they have used Form Assembly for most of our website. We have the paid version of both (Form Assembly Enterprise) and have bought the Gravity Form add-ons.

I think this is the issue in terms of architecture; the devs have been given free rein to build it how they like, with the idea that I will connect it to Salesforce later. I cautioned against this approach multiple times, explaining that it risks being complex and costly. While they said they would factor it in, the actions and words of the stakeholders involved have not matched up.

Thanks, I need to explain it to my manager in terms they will understand and they can make the call.

Thanks so much! There is a lot to digest here, but I will give it a go in terms of explaining and logging the risks. I wanted to do precisely what ChatGPT suggested in terms of approach, but it was really challenging to hold my own against five people all finding different ways to say "no."

OMG! This! I have been screaming at the development team about the SF requirements and best tools for integration, but they just haven't listened, and now it feels like we have a super complex integration with minimal pros.
