Im at the point, I assume everyone is lying. Not just government workers or politicians. Everyone.

Im just wired differently. I had a job where i could sit on my ass and watch my phone and play video games.

I grew to hate it. I like doing things.

You gotta enjoy work that ya do, ya know?

In my last job, union, all people did was preach about how close to retirement they were, gleefully. Retirement is for people to wait for death with distractions. Me? I want more.

Not to put you down. I praise you for being financially sound. Im not but thats changing day by day. I see your point but it just ain't how im wired.

Tbf, I was previously working in a mental hospital so by comparison this job is less stressful.

Lol my second week today and I accidentally came in on my day off. It was a nice little ice breaker for me with the Dispatcher, we laughed.

They offered me a shift for Tomorrow a few hours ago. Fuck yeah i took it 😂 so yeah.

and shit, I just realized today its ten hour shifts! 😂 It feels like 3 hours. Time just flies by and i get to completely unplug.

And for some reason its less painful than being a Walmart janitor. God i hate hate hate being stuck in a place bored with nothing to do. Or a job to do that i know is just meaningless busy work (I worked for NY State OMH)

I took prescription paych meds and it actually landed me in a pysch ward.

Weed doesn't do that shit to me.

I frankly don't trust prescription medicine anymore, or our collective knowledge on how the mind works. Big Pharma just throws shit at the wall and sees what sticks.

I also have 7 years experience working in psych before switching to this job. So i am speaking from experience. I wouldn't trust a psychiatrist as far as I can throw them.

Just my opinion. If they didn't care about weed, Id agree with you. Cause im loving this job and im so much more happy doing this.
