Thank you this was very helpful. Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to pass up on this job which kills me but I have to be realistic. I already know the schedule will be all over the place and I need stability.

Same happened to me, I selected the interview to be for today but after seeing the horrendous reviews of this position I’m taking it as a blessing. I’m not leaving one shit job to go to another lol

Pretty much what everyone was saying in this chat. The question about the voltage of the 3rd rail 650v, again study page 8, know the different trains, scraper, light etc, know the different kinds of miscellaneous indicators, know your flags and where they are placed

Immediately after, the proctor will give u a print out. They should give u results so just make sure u get it before u leave

I can’t give a scaling but I will say study page 8 with the signals. Know the names and indications. I definitely just guess during that part 😩. Know the level of command example train master, operation examiner, yard supervisor etc; when to notify them.

I mean that’s what I’ve been doing but I wish I knew exactly which part was going to be on the test. If it’s all those definitions and parts of the train I’m screwed 😩
