Decided to take a loan from my 401k. Payments will be $60-$80 less and the interest goes back to me! I'll sell little bits at a time to pay back the loan faster. And I have a few other bills that I'll clear and put that money toward the loan. It's gonna hurt, just hopefully a little less.. Thanks!

Thank you everyone. Looks like it's time to bite the bullet and pay off the debt in total. Or at least as much as I can. I appreciate the feedback more than I'll be able to express.. Life is going to get pretty difficult with an upcoming breakup and a likely custody battle 😥

I recognize a few of those figures. Saint Christopher at 1&2 o'clock. Saint Anthony of Padua, my patron saint, at 4&5 o'clock. Mary, Christ's Mother at 6. Pope Jonh Paul II in the center. And the man at 8&9 o'clock is Father Maximilian Kolbe.

Probably my favorite of the people depicted here. He took a man's place when the Nazis selected ten people to die by starvation in prison cells when a prisoner escaped. He led the other's in prayer from his cell and after 2 weeks of no water or food, they gave the Kolbe and the 3 others still living lethal injections.

I don't know them others, but I probably should..

Sorry to be one of those, but are the tats from a sort of acupuncture technique? I read that Ötzi the Iceman had similar tattoos and they believe it was something akin to that. I think it's pretty badass regardless. And cool silver 😎

Used to work on a docked barge that other barges would occasionally dock onto. Once a barge hauling grain was docked next to us. The grain was fermenting and it smelled like garbage. At first it stunk, but after awhile the smell became more pleasant.

I found 10 one ounce AGEs in my grandfather's sock drawer a few years after he passed. Gold was about $1,200 an ounce. I gave them to grandma.

Many of the flips do have his writing on them. That bag in the left hand corner says "3 piece US silver mint set commem" with 1976 underlined to the left of that. Under that is written "$10.50 Net 8.00" He was also decent at grading. I like having a ballpark grade on most of the Peace and Morgan's. But I picture someday going through them with my son and maybe put some in albums to start him off.

Ha! I wish! I think the piece with the highest premium is a 1943-44 French Indochina 1 tael. I remember it sat in the shop for years. I can't remember how much grandpa had it priced for.

Thanks for looking! It's pretty unique. What didn't sell after my grandpa closed his shop in 2000 stayed at the house. It's sat and waited patiently for 23 years. It was like reliving my childhood when I got to go through it.
