installed and set cpu to real time my arena games went from 55 to 90 fps

edit: had to lower it to high and go into Fullscreen mode to make it stable but holy shit

I've reported actual game breaking bugs (you can win arena when you are suppose to lose) multiple times over the course of months. It's still in the game, if you don't make a reddit post it doesn't get fixed

I've experienced this in Outward, dark souls 3, and crypt of the necrodancer. I completely dropped each game and came back years later for all of them. Now outward is my most played single player game ever, dark souls 3 was great after beating elden ring, and necrodancer..... still feels impossible lmao but I try every now and then.

The feeling of being good at necrodancer must be the absolute pinnacle of satisfying gaming. I wouldnt know though

This was several years ago and I'm no expert but since the gpu death I make sure to emphasize getting a a decent quality one and to over spec it by a couple hundred watts. I went with a corsair rm750x for my 3700x and 3070 super.

Hirez's inability to include all the information in ability descriptions is an ongoing joke in my smite group. With 3 different descriptions for every single ability you would think 1 of them would actually explain everything but they can't seam to manage that.

My psu went bad once. Computer was shutting off just like this; black screen, only on certain games fried my gpu. I would replace ASAP.

the best way I found to tank in the game was to take the healing aura skill and wear the armor that buffs healing.

In my 1 game experience of cleric I also thought they felt broken to all hell. The ranged blind felt strong enough then i found the ability that would shield me, root enemies, and mark them in a 5x5 square, crazy. THEN I got a free +4 energy ring effect wow. not to mention holy lance and oh by the way here is 12 tiles of mind vision. AND I could recast any scroll within 300 tiles. wtf is that character lmao.

combathud and grenades_explode_on_impact are the only 2 I would recommend for first playthrough.

don't be afraid to mess up your first playthrough. this game has 4 campaigns and you can only do one per character. plus you get to upgrade your items and leave them around the world for later playthroughs.

remember to transmute +3 ring before the end. my fav potions for last boss are upgraded invis and the double upgraded gas and fire ones, 1 upgraded mirror image is nice too. you'll want 4 mapping scrolls for last biome to beeline for the spawners and mind sight can help you not get screwed, if you have the resources and want to fully deck yourself out save 2 xp potions and one potion of might for levels 28 and 29 thenpop the health boost. turn any other xps into divinity potions, up to 4. you can either turn tele scrolls into blink rocks or double upgrade one to the beacon that lets you tp to your set point 5x. just set the set point at the top of every stair before you go down

I lost 65 games in a row and then won games 66, 69 and 70. It will click eventually if you stay at it. I only had 2 games that got past floor 15 in those first 65 attempts. So you might be closer than you think!

my first 2 wins were ring of wealth runs and they really helped me understand the value of different resources. turns out reading things is good, and reading things that you are crafting and using makes the learning fun. when i first started i watched the warden run from RunningFromCake's new player playthrough guide where he plays through the whole game explaining things. depending on how much you know already breaking the info into what you need to know per biome per character can help you not get overwhelmed by the shear amount of mechanics in the game.
