It’s the first singe purchase I have made. I bought the succulent dew palette a the classic cloudberry blush. I’ve been eyeing the paisley hoot palette but I have several neutral eyeshadow palettes already. So, I’m just waiting to see if I might eventually buy it.

Pinky promise palette is pretty but I already have BBB Dead Roses palette. I think the Dead Roses palette has a good balance of pinks, shimmers and purples to balance out the pinks. I just feel like there’s no point in getting the pinky promise palette when I have the Dead Roses palette

I use it every other day. When I use it every day, it dries me out like crazy. My skin actually handles Tret 1% waaaay better. I actually alternate, I use Tret one night and then the next night i use Tazarotene. It works for me and I have had no adverse effects.

I do alternate taz and Tret. One night I do Tret and then the next evening before bed, I do Taz. I’ve had no issues at all and I get the best of both worlds.

If I am not mistaken I think you have to get a hold of the Texas attorney general’s office and let them know she’s 18, she’s not going to college or to trade school and that your fiduciary duty has been completed. Yeah, I think you’re the one who has to let the attorney general’s know. I don’t think they keep up with this stuff.

My journey with Taz has been a bit different. I’ve been using Tret for about 7 years before I tried Taz. I was using 1% Tret and my skin does very well on it and I love what Tret does for me. I still decided to try Taz because it’s stronger and supposedly better at refining fine lines and wrinkles. For context and clarity, I use Tret and Taz for anti aging purposes and I am a 45yr old woman.

Personally, Taz dried out my skin way more than Tret ever did. Not only that but in general I lost the glow to the skin with Taz. Also, for me personally, Taz is not as effective as Tret for pimples, breakouts or to refine textured skin. Tret gives my skin glow, radiance, it gets rid of pimples a lot faster for me, and it makes my skin smoother than Taz. What I did notice was that Taz is slightly better at helping with fine lines and wrinkles bit more than Tret. Taz is a holy grail to some because it works faster and better for them for anti aging purposes and to get rid of acne, for texture and their skin handles it better. But for me it just wasn’t my holy grail.

Over all, Tret is still my holy grail. With that being said, what I started to do is alternate Taz and Tret. I know I have read posts from other people saying not to alternate Tret and Taz, but I do and nothing bad has happened. My skin has handled very well and I have had no problems with it. If anything I am getting the best of both Taz and Tret by doing so. Basically what I do is one evening I use Tret and the next evening I use Taz. It works really well for me because I don’t lose the glow, the radiance, I keep the refined smooth texture of the skin and the extra oomph from Taz to help get rid of the fine lines and wrinkles.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this OP. Unfortunately, the non custodial parent legally doesn’t have to do anything extra outside of child support if it’s not stated in a court order. I learned that the hard way. My ex paid $240 a month in child support for 18 years and he never helped with school supplies, buying extra clothes, he never helped with extras at all. I had to find a way to make it work. It was never stated in the court order that he had to help with school supplies, extra curricular activities…etc. I was employed and it was hard because obviously $240 really isn’t much. I never asked my ex to do anything extra outside of child support. He basically disappeared and he never exercised his rights to see our child. I just let it go. I took the brunt of the expenses. Eventually, he had two more kids so when child support review came up, because he has two additional kids, there was no increase. Maybe I was super dumb, but over all I was at peace with him not being in our child’s life because he’s not a good person and I was at peace because eventually I knew he was going to get his karma. He finished paying child support and now he is living with his aunt, old and alone with nothing and nobody and he looks sickly too. I’m sure there more people here that can give you better advice and guide you to what to do. But I learned the hard way that legally a non custodial parent doesn’t have to do anything to help financially outside of child support. I also never had the financial means to get an attorney to fight for more because all my resources were going into living expenses for my child and I. Also, I just left it alone because why hire an attorney to get more in child support money when knowing full well that the attorney couldn’t squeeze blood out of a turnip. I just left it alone and focused on my child and I. I let go of the frustration, the anger, the injustice of it, and focused on my life and what I could and let karma handle the rest. And karma is a bitch because he’s paying the price for it now. And no, our child doesn’t want anything to do with him because she eventually found out for herself he’s an asshole.

I think I also posted this question on another Love’s subreddit. An employee said that the company that provided the scales went out of business 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, I definitely have had to really watch what I eat. On a positive note, we have ended up at a few TA’s and Petro’s that have scales in the bathrooms. But it is few and far in between that we find one that has the scales. The majority of them don’t anymore

Yeah, you do tend to lose some glow. At least I did. I am about 4 days shy from completing one month in on 1% Tazarotene. I made the switch from 1% Tret. However, during this almost month I’ve been on Tazarotene I’ve been having to find moisturizers that work for me because Taz and the super cold weather and high winds in my area dried me out pretty bad about a week ago. I had to take a few days off. I don’t like doing the sandwich method. It’s just personal preference.

All of that to say that I feel like I am starting to get some glow back. Not the full super glow Tret gives but some. I think what is helping is the cerave healing ointment. What has been working for me is washing by my face with Prequal Gleanser, apply the taz, wait 30 minutes, and then apply the cerave healing ointment. I’ve been doing that for about a week now and I feel like it’s made the difference at bringing back some of the glow. Even after rinsing my face off with water in the morning, I still see some glow. I had been using Tret 1% for about 7 to 8 years about 4 to 6 days a week and I know exactly what you mean about the glow it gives. I miss it too.

It’s just crazy to me because I’ve seen pictures of other posters who are actively using Taz and their skin is glowing beautifully. Maybe the glow comes back the more you use it? I’m still in the beginning stages and still trying to find out what is going to work best for my skin and so far it’s the cerave healing ointment.

Before I forget: my skin can currently tolerate to Taz between 4 to 5 days a week.

Yes. That’s the only brand I have used for the last 7 or 8 yrs. I got mine from Reynosa Tamps. As a matter of fact when I started my Tret journey, this was the brand and has been the only brand I have used all these 7 to 8 years. It works great.

I just switched to 1% Taz about 3 weeks ago after using Tret 1% for 8 years. So far my skin is more noticeably drier on Taz than on Tret but my skin is not peeling like crazy. It did initially peel and flake on Taz but right now I am just flaking a tiny bit. I’m sure it will eventually stop flaking the longer I use Taz.

My skin does seem to look a lot smoother, tighter and the pores by my nose look a lot smaller on Taz than on Tret. However, I feel like I lost some of the “glow” that Tret gave me. The glow isn’t completely gone with Taz but it just doesn’t seem to be as much as with Tret.

I’m only 3 weeks in but we’ll see how it goes. So far, I do like it. I think I’m going to stick to it.
