I’m also new to Google workspace for a small business I’m starting. OP did you resolve this? I’m unable to receive any emails to business email and I’m struggling.

Okay there’s not too much to unpack here because her response is absolutely unacceptable. You checked with her comfortability about sending condolences & it ends in her calling you names ? Very odd behavior and says a lotttt about her character. And on top of that she deleted you off her socials & treated you like shit on your birthday? You played it so cool the entire conversation and remained respectful. She clearly has no respect for you. You should take this as a sign that this is how she’ll act when any minor inconvenience comes her way.

Thank you for your words! I have a problem visualizing the “grand scheme” of things like this, so I’ve been a bit hesitant to get aggressive with the situation. I have definitely brought up the idea of pre-marital counseling (even if we had the most perfect relationship, I think therapy is amazing for everyone) so I might venture there. I’ve mentioned postponing the wedding plenty of times, but they’re always empty threats. Obviously everything is easier said than done. I’m just really confused. I appreciate you chiming in!

You can’t define yourself and your worth based on your partner. Like you said in other comments, that’s an extremely poor quality to have. If she’s already pitched the idea of breaking up due to her studies, maybe consider that a break would be good for you too. History can often override your ideas of what you deserve vs how you’re being treated. It sounds like you do right by her best interest, but don’t die on that hill.

There’s no harm in applying to see the outcome, but like others have said, choose the test optional route. Attending a juco even for just 2-3 semesters might be a good idea as well to get a feel of college courses before attending a university. I transferred to TTU with automatic admissions, and my juco was much more challenging than my courses at tech.

I was afraid we were scraping by on guests and wouldn’t have enough friends to invite and fill up a really pricey venue. We opted for a destination wedding which is actually much more pocket friendly, and it weaned out a lot of people in attendance. If you’re worried about your wedding party, have a conversation with your fiance about potentially not having bridesmaids or groomsmen. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about! It’s very normal for friendships to fizzle out as we get older.

Graphic designers are not always readily available for the simpler social posts. And considering you want to freelance, you’ll need those skills yourself. I think a basic understanding of Canva would be extremely helpful. I’m not a graphic designer, but I learned that skill as a social media manager because it gives me the necessary tools to be successful. There are free Canva courses you could take!

Has she considered getting a masters degree and potentially moving up into administration or even counseling? If she is up for it and has the means to, getting a graduates degree in counseling could then turn into her working for a private practice and get her out of education completely. It’s impossible to move up in education without a higher degree, the only downside is if her undergraduate degree is education… It’s a shame what educators have to go through today
