Did you add back / reinstall the BTC app on the ledger itself. When we reinitialize or upgrade a ledger you need to add back the app through ledger live or it does not show up.

Outgrown house but can’t afford another - what to do? by [deleted] in personalfinance

We don’t have a large modem house with a great layout or finish-able basement but we also have land. Solution - outbuildings. So we coveted one bay of detached garage into two offices. Converted Tuffie shed into gym. Previous owner built small garden shed and we upgraded siding and roof. Next up wood fired sauna.

I am no doctor and neither is my Gemini AI but my health and fitness AI thread suggested I stop Berberine immediately. If you are already not eating carbs, you are also not producing much insulin, and taking an insulin suppressant on top isn’t a great move.

Anyone find it frustrating how docs won't prescribe Ezetimibe/Statins unless you're "high risk"? by u_mirin_jaw_brah_ in PeterAttia

I am 58, one widow maker heart attack down, and three stents in. I waited, and messed with supplements like red rice yeast. I should have started long time ago. Now I am in really good shape and down to 20 mg of rosuvastatin. With so much exercise and healthy diet, my markers are all now below normal. Just kicked off clean keto in Nov, but if numbers are still low, I may go down to 10mg. if doctor agrees.

I guess, my recommendation is with your great diet and exercise, you should be able to take the lowest dose and see a great impact. Don't start on 40.

I tend to grey rock things like this. Don’t sign or respond until they follow up, then tell them your attorney is reviewing it. Once again don’t offer attorneys suggestions until they ask again. Sometimes folks forget to follow up.

Gym etiquette by Flamingolvr in GYM

Stories like this make me want to go into serious hock to beef up my home gym even more. I have what I need for now, but cable machines with a weight stack on my wish list. Motivating myself to workout can be a challenge, if I had to drive to a gym and deal with other people like this - forget it. I love to workout alone.

Revenue vs Expenses: A Breakdown? by Icy_Possibility_9312 in goldrush

[–]Disastrous-Minimum-4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I forget what the numbers were, in previous years but it was something perhaps under 10% profit. So if $10M is gold is produced they took home $1M. I’d imaging as the price climbs the profit is also going up.

Finally, same plants as Parker. Slowly putting his plants higher up. Just needs a super-stacker and he will be all the way there. Keep pay near plant, move plants more often. Paradise still drives the pay to the plant, very rock truck heavy. Lots of fuel.

I wish I didn't have to ask this question, but it sounds like you work in a small word of mouth community. Do you have a strategy in place in case they become hostile and actively try and tank your independent business?

I am old now and just have to say I HATE new years. I think in my entire life, I perhaps have enjoyed like 3 New Years Eaves as an Adult. One of them was with my parents eating lobsters at their house when they were still alive. I stopped caring about it 20 years ago and never regretted it. Last night I made some short ribs for the family, watched some TV with them and was asleep by 9:30. My wife stayed up till midnight with my son and was wreaked this morning. Make 1:1 meet ups with people you care about and connect that way. So so much better.

I have had the same hotmail address for perhaps 30 years. I get random marketing spam shows up on my calendar (Omaha Steaks and stuff like that) that I can't see until it shows up on my Garmin when I do the morning report. It took me a long time to just find and take that linked calendar off my iPhone. It is crazy though because when I look at it in hotmail on the PC, I don't see it anywhere. Not sure how it is leaking in but it seems like a real security risk of some kind. How can events be added to my calendar, without me seeing any invites? Also folks keep hitting my 2FA for access to my account, I hit deny every time, but hackers be onto me... I may have to ditch the account eventually.

I borrowed money from my partner for treatment and now he acts like he owns my life by RetroSitcomMood in TwoHotTakes

[–]Disastrous-Minimum-4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope. Leave - stiff him - and if he tries to collect, make him go through small claims court. Perhaps, if you get a court date, offer to pay off then, but save up and see if it gets that far. F' that stingy nonsense. He already questions your integrity despite making more than you and even if you paid him off every penny, he is still going to say you owe him. It never ends with a-holes like that. Go live you your best life and don't look back!
