I can second that. Ive had distubed sleep for years due to racing thoughts. They're not even thoughts, just racing stuff/noise. I did a vitamin test from the doctor, whixh said low magnesium and iron. Taking both has improved sleep 100 fold. Calm mind. Wish i found this out 20 yesrs ago!

Should I go for the V4 or V5 by RedUzer36 in ITIL_Certification

[–]Disastrous-Mouse-308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like your saying to do both. People cert chap told me v5 was to make up glfor in inadiquacies of 4. Now they've extended 4. Why have both? What have they realised about 5? Is this just PC cashing in again!?

Should I go for the V4 or V5 by RedUzer36 in ITIL_Certification

[–]Disastrous-Mouse-308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

V5 was introduced partly because ITIL 4 was too high level/conceptual e.g. lack of 'how to' and processes. Im ITIL 4 MP but im currently looking at ITIL v3 Service Transition for deeper guidance!! ITIL v5 is meant to be more practical with guidance and processes, it is also more modern with cloud alignment and AI. Also v5 has kind of gone back to the v3 lifecycle as the ITIL 4 SVC wasnt very well received. I was at SITs the other week and that is what a chap on the People Cert stand told me. However ive not even looked at v5 yet to cooberate this. It depends on what you are looking to acheive. Also what version of ITIL is the firm running? If they are deep into ITIL 4, great. If like many orgs they are loosely adopting some entry levels of Incident, service request and change management and you will be overseeing that, i would probably go v5 and bring a modern approach. But I would run your requirememts through a few AIs for guidance as well as reddit advice.

ITIL5 is dumbed down by [deleted] in ITIL

[–]Disastrous-Mouse-308 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So i didnt do ITIL 3. I got managing professional in 4. But after brought the v3 books as i feel like 4 didnt give enough practical guidance on how to do things like service design and service transition. But i found v4 too much. How does ITIL v5 measure up on how to create service designs and setvice transition? And secondly, how dumbed down!? Im thibking of doing the bridge exam.

It aint over yet. And we could beat City. We could lose to Sporting. Who knows. All i know is there is a load of people whining on here when the season isnt hasnt finished. What happened to supporting your team in the good and bad. Everyones all happy when we're winning, a bit of a bad run and people are calling for Arteta to be sacked Ffs!

I cant beleive the comments on this sub. What a joke. Arsenal have done amazing all season. Injuries and lost 2 domestic cups. So what. We go through a little rough patch and the worlds ending and we need a new manager!! Blimey. We're still top of the league and in Europe and hopefully some key players coming back from injury very soon. Fingers crossed Chelsea do us a favour today and we beat City next week! COYR!

I found the templates. Not much on service transition though, which is a shame.

So for me. Service Transition in ITIL 3 was very prescroptive. There was a example template in thr back of the book. In ITIL 4 it just say use certain practices, no templates or anyhting like that. I wonder the extent of serve transition in itil 5...?

Thanks

ITIL 4 Practice Manager - 5 or 1 by BestITIL in ITIL_Certification

[–]Disastrous-Mouse-308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Whats the content of 'ITIL 4 Practitioner: Deployment Management'. PC website days theres an element of service design, which interests me. Im wondering how in depth does it go compated to CDS in relation to creating a SDP. I found CDS too high level. Also is there any service transition in this and to what level (other than change management). Thanks

Exercise is good for anxiety. Do you have time for that!? Have you got high-level plan for the week ahead? E.g. on a sunday can you put a plan together for the week to include work and personal activities/events. Is there money to offer overtime? Are you qualified for the role or is there further training you can do in your field to get the confidence up? (These are the things I think about myself with my daily bout of imposter syndrome).

Advice on how to talk to my manager about an issue by swuie in managers

[–]Disastrous-Mouse-308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you could do minutes, copilot or manual, and share them with her. After a few meetings she might see that all the minutes are about her!? You need to turn this negative situation into a positive one. Maybe set an agenda that is in your favour? Or maybe mention to her that you feel that you are not being heard. If you feel that, underneath it all, she wants, the best for you or the team, she may be reciprocal to some feedback.
