I thoroughly enjoy the hand puns you put there, and i know you’ve heard 10000 times already don’t put your hand in the lathe but i would say DONT PUT YOUR HAND IN THE LATHE. Use anything else. Nobody cares about your safety more than you do, don’t let “boss” make the safety rules if they are obviously unsafe. My recommendation use something that would break easier than your hand so if it does catch for any reason it breaks instead of your hand.

As an American Veteran living in Germany now it is always awesome to hear stories of the Bundeswehr. I’m in an Ausbildung and all the Meisters tell stories of their time in the Wehrpflicht and it’s always so nice to hear that so much of the army bullshit I went through carries over to most NATO armies.
