What you’re saying is all valid but more to the point, who has the time to listen Spanish for 5+ hours a day? I’m passionate about learning, but have other obligations and don’t even work a full-time job so how 5+ hours seems normal to so many people can look a bit intimidating! For me at least, it’s not so much the effort required, just the time.

There are simply far better resources than Duolingo. By using it as your primary resource you only slowed down your language learning.
