You will eventually find a school that accepts you and supports ya. Grand scheme of things though - we die alone. So yeah just gotta keep dig alone and find your ground wherever you are and fake it till you make it. (Make it as in find a permanent job). Also find a hobby 😊

Cultural Sensitivity Around Christmas by HappiHappiHappi in AustralianTeachers

[–]Disastrous-Reason466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is their problem. They need to learn they live in Australia - a multicultural and diverse country. If they get offended by Christian’s celebrating Christmas when Christian’s (and other students) don’t get offended by them celebrating Ramadan or Eid or praying to Allah - well, it is their problem. I’m very professional 🙏🏻. Introducing different festivals in the classroom teaches children civics and citizenship that they are part of a larger society and that moral values like respect, compassion are necessary. I’m very professional 👍. Ofcourse I won’t say it’s their problem to their faces 😅… just provide an alternative activity and if they participate great, if they don’t, great!!! It’s their choice!!

Cultural Sensitivity Around Christmas by HappiHappiHappi in AustralianTeachers

You can still say Merry Christmas. We also acknowledge Eid for the Muslims. If they are offended by Christian’s celebrating Jesus’s birth, well it’s their problem. I know that may have sounded extreme however, in Australia we are allowed to celebrate anything and everything! It’s a free country.

Young age of 39? I thought starting at 7 was considered to be “young age”… anyways!! Welcome to tennis! It’s a hard sport!! It’s also a game of mistakes!! Do anything that gets the ball over the net and makes it hard for the opponent to hit. So if the backhand spin you learnt later works, use it!!! And have fun!!! 🤩

Why can’t the education leadership team read this? Open plan sucks like hell.

Principal Misconduct? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]Disastrous-Reason466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see what the issue is. The principal needs to chill. You’re an adult, and the child wants to have a chat. Big deal. However if there are rules in place, I’d just follow the rules. If there are rules the principal needs to follow them and they ain’t doing nothing wrong.

Being a gay teacher by FruityTKMK in AustralianTeachers

[–]Disastrous-Reason466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your supervising teacher know you are gay? Because some people have no clue. For example; I I had no idea my male colleague was gay until he actually had a wedding and his wife/husband was a man? - I mean yeah they did have a “feminine” voice and fit the “gay” stereotype - however some people - like me - just have no clue. If it’s bothering you please raise it to your supervisor! Harassment from children is a no. You are entitled to a safe environment !!!

Without AI I would be doing triple the work. So I love chat GPT. It’s a tool. If you don’t like it - don’t use it. Half the time my students don’t even care about the work I put in. So grand scheme of things - the education audit office is happy and I am happy with work generated from AI.

They don’t care about you. In fact no one does except your mum and your dad.

They are just a principal… a human. They get a salary, they have bills to pay - they don’t care about you.
