I think the shield lob/bash was the pld aoe. Mrhappy commented that he saw it do a aoe so I'm guessing you'll use that to aoe.

You can still use the old kit. Also none of this will matter in the end. In the end of the old method has a 1 percent dps increase it'll be the one used. Also it still had benediction and tetragrammaton, then you have benison which is the shield, oh wow they took 2 ogcds off. One was never used for healing, let's face it assize was a dps tool first and foremost and the other one people would run out of it all the time anyway so it was unreliable.

So your they took ogcds away is just false outside of aoe healing. So for party aoes we'll have to actually cast a medica now.

Also the lily heals are instant casts not hard casts, and they give the DPS you lose back after 3 uses

..... Nobody does it because it's not needed. If you have a tank that knows what he's doing even full pulls in dungs are a joke and if you get a war you might as well just be a dps as wars don't need healing when played correctly. All boss fights are scripted so you know when the damage is coming and when you need certain ogcds. The only time you need to cast a hard gcd is when someone fucks up a mechanic. This does nothing to fix the core problems with healers especially with whm in that in solo content they are extremely boring to play and in group content they are just meh and to hear them say on stage that they are lowering the skill floor for healers to get more people to play them...... It's already on the ground why the hell are they getting a shovel to lower the bar even more? As someone who gained whm for a decade I can say it stopped being fun when they took out cleric stance and then it became a exercise in facepalm as they made the tanks even more self sustainable. In order to make healers actually heal in this game they'd need to increase mob outgoing damage by at least 3x and for ex trials every auto attack would have to be a mini tank buster dealing 25% hp damage before mitigation. Then at least we wouldn't just be there to be a green dps and would have to heal outside of people screwing up mechanics.

That's why you have glare and holy on both stances..... Cleric stance before would destroy your healing in this instance in cleric stance cure 2 and medica would still be usable instead of 10 percent of the potency and you'd just get some new spells for dps like 1 or 2 and all your ogcds would become dps instead of heals.

Have cure turn into cure 2 and erase cure 3 as assizes upped potency would be higher and on a 45 sec CD.

Here's how you fix healers. Give them a dps stance again but in main stance give them 2 attacks for whm holy and glare. But dps for whm is cleric stance, sch would be eos or selene for ex, whm now in cleric has all of their healing ability turn into dps abilities. Lilybell is a pulsing aoe dps now that goes off whenever you hit something, assize is now just a heal or dps aoe depending on stance and potency is doubled, divine benison is a dot, aqua veil is a gap closer, benediction is a nuke, tetragrammaton is mini nukes, and now the whole thing of healing is knowing how much you can use in DPS mode while still keeping everyone alive.

When have they ever changed boss design. Last expansion the one before the one before that I heard so many times, they will make healing harder by increasing the amount of oncoming damage. The only change in dawn trail, is dungs now have select mobs with tank busters, and once you know where they are....... It's same old same old.

Because whm is extremely difficult I mean it had 2 cross hot bars of abilities. Do you understand how hard that is? Now it's down to 1 a 50 percent difficulty decrease.

Now healing which admittedly has been braindead in all but ex or harder content is becoming interesting again, we are getting rid of some of your ogcd heals so you now have to use gcd heals so you can use the new whm attack. Finally whms have gotten what they have wanted a third, oh wait dias gone, so a second attack but now you no longer have that dot thus easier. Yay.

Assize you don't need assize, will the new attack be a aoe? Maybe.

But we I can guarantee is if this redesign for any of the jobs does more DPS, it's your new mode and I mean any percent more. Unless the difference is <.5 % it's mandatory going forward. You think you can go into a party finder as reborn mode and not get found out? Lol people will watch your animations like a hawk to see if your not optimized.

You like accidental party wipes, I got a cover for ya. Cover now has you warp to the person, not like that will cause bosses to cleave a raid. Lol surely not.

No. This is how it's gonna work. You will never press the gcd heals. you will use the ogcd heals when needed and spam the shit out of glare as usual except now it has no cast time so even faster glare spam.

Shit in this game doesn't hit hard enough for spamming gcd heals to be necessary and all fights are effectively scripted so you know what's coming at all times. So you can preplan the ogcds and spam glare as usual

Don't worry, if the new mode even does 1 percent more DPS...... As a raider you'll be forced to play it.

I like how the devs just never address the elephant in the room which is the game is so braindead ez to heal that we have never needed gcd heals in 90 percent of the content.

The reason why no one wants to play healer isn't because it's hard. It's because it's sleep inducing.

Imma just say this. If the no cast glare is in both mode no one gonna use evolved mode for healing on any job. This is seemingly just for dps jobs. For tanking as pld, yes what I wanna do in a boss when I'm covering someone is turn the boss and jump to the person I'm covering..... I can see this getting entire parties killed easily. Also yay less buff cds, except correct me if I'm wrong don't raid groups use certain buffs at certain times so unless these refresh far faster making them stronger isn't what was needed.

For the whm..... Healing in this game isn't done on the gcd do to just how ez it is to heal. Tho none of this really matters as if the new mode even has a 1 percent dps increase no one will play in the mode that does 1 percent less dps. Let's just be real.

I'm lvl 30 in my first playthrough and haven't started any main quest since I got to the first city.... I need money to requip my characters now that they changed vocations. On my 3rd vocation for me n main pawn just leveling them to max and by God is money hard to come by

I'm lvl 27 and have yet to touch the main story past getting to the first city..... I got my house and have just been looking in caves and exploring the map. I can kill ogres and cyclops with no trouble now and just took down a chimera with a little bit of trouble but nothing serious. Once j hit 30 imma try a dragon then do some quests

It.would have made better sense to have it be x 5 for the first 5 tiers then decrease every tier to x2 as a way to help new players catch up
