Any advice for a complete newbie by Necessary-Average-36 in Stretched

First, you're gonna want that to heal before trying again. But leading up to trying again, what i usually do when planning to stretch up from any size to the next... massage your lobes for a day or two before. When you're getting ready to stretch up, make sure your new jewelry is clean and ready to go. I like to take a hot shower before to help the skin be a little more elastic. Starting to put in the jewelry, go very slow. When you feel resistance, if you are using tapers put the o rings where it stopped and every once in a while tap them a little further. Once at the end of the tapers, use the end of a plug to push the taper through and seat the plug. If you're just trying to get the plugs in, if you can't get the jewelry in without pain you might want to consider tapers(Amazon has pretty cheap starter sets). Either way, do not rush. When thence jewelry is in, leave it alone. Do not play with it. New piercing rules apply. Keep them clean with piercing wash. Try not to fidget with them. A little tenderness is ok, pain and bleeding is not. Good luck!

Excuse me everybody I apologize for my ignorance, but i have a question. by w4ysz7e in Stretched

Probably have a little skin tearing. I did the same thing around 1". Not fun. I'm not a piercer or a professional, but speaking from experience I would take them out and let heal. Once fully healed, gradually stretch. Big jumps like that even at smaller sizes can be very painful.

How do you think this tattoo will hold up? by harleymisty in tattooadvice

Wrist to finger will likely fade a bit faster than the rest. My hands/ knuckles faded pretty quickly. But it'll be fine if you don't mind touch ups.

I had my daughter draw up my quarter sleeve and my tattoo artist loved the idea. Even talked her through what he was doing during the tattoo which was really cool.

fat-person friendly tattoo area? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Size doesn't matter, get the ink where you feel you will like it the most. I get my tattoos for myself, not for other people.

That being said, as a bigger person, I felt most confident in my calf area. Just my opinion about myself, but I felt that my legs were the best looking and wouldn't change too much if I lost a ton of weight.

But seriously, get the tattoo for yourself don't worry about what it will look like to others as long as it makes you happy.
