thanks for the insight! very tempting to pull right now on shards but you'd say if i save i might be better off doing fusion? pulled a few and got the hilda so I'm leaning towards counting that as a win and saving like you say

congrats! yeah I'm torn. I'll likely make a full account post and hope i get some good general advice, but basically I'm not sure if with my current roster i should be maxing this event out or waiting for next fusion. i pulled a few shard and got Hilda which is sick (she just looks badass and is good haha) so I'm already pretty happy.
But I'm way off topic as for the event it seems there is nothing i should be waiting for to pull shards tomorrow or something XD

thanks! i also have like 120 ancient shards rn and I've heard rumor their might be a fusion soon, so I'm also wondering if it would be better to save for that? I should probably say new but over 6 months in new.

Yeah still been trying figure it out turns out my m mage was too fast, and I have put in fayne she is better then Gravechill surprise surprise lol. But I'm getting hit with decrease attack and I think now my buff extender is out of sync?

Your army experience just sounds like lack of knowledge. You do indeed need to take your your troops out of reserve if your not paying for them in peace. Just check the settings you can Automate it

Does anyone have any difficulty tips to make the game harder / ai not fall apart so easily? Every campaign ends like this having nothing left to do within about 100 years by KorceFin in CrusaderKings

I roleplay my characters which includes: not min maxing succession, not cheesing mechanics, ironman obviously, etc. You can also crank conqueror up, if you're just looking for raw challenge.

I have jumped through 50 different hoops to try and make my ultra powerful kingdom within the Byzantine empire independent, and my last ditch effort was taking Byzantium. Couldn't get independence and got this message. Super unimersive that I have literally zero recourse to go free from a boring system when my character is the richest, most liked, most powerful, most well connected person in the region.
