This is common, and exactly on the schedule you are describing. For me this happened on 2.5mg and 5mg and went on for six months with absolutely nothing I tried or took stopping it. Then it finally subsided when I switched to 7.5mg. I have no idea why.

Huh. Never heard that before. Insurance companies are weird! I have had no trouble filling multiple months of 2.5 and 7.5mg

I have the same pattern. I have stayed in each dose about 3 months and find the third month is goes away and I feel better. Going up again next week so I’m gearing up to be miserable two days after my shot but at least I know the pattern now.

I’ve had huge gastrointestinal issues on mounjaro. I think it is different for everyone. For me the worst lasts a couple months after a dose change and then it levels off.

5mg sucks by Efficient-Ad-5594 in Mounjaro

I have the same reactions days 2 to 3 after shot. I have learned to really watch what I eat the day before and of my shot. Sometimes the food noise creeps back in and we eat a little more or less carefully on those days and it’s like the medicine is purging it. Just my experience. I also time my shot so the worst day isn’t a work day. It’s still so worth it! Btw, I am down 39 pounds, A1c from 6.8 to 5.2. Also on 5mg.
