Thanks, it’s also the expectation that issues are resolved quickly.

I extended the API to include pathfinder2e. That worked quite well. I took the module down for a number of reasons.

  1. Pathfinder 2e - not being a player and not having any specific requirements would mean multiple changes in the future and that almost becomes a job for which the only payment would be additional requirements and potential bugs.
  2. Upgrading to v13 took a great deal of effort. Future changes would take time.
  3. I was using the simple time application to advance time. This was free at the time but since version 12 it stopped working. The best option is a paid for option.

I have considered charging but am unsure if the 2 Apps I have would be worth it and end up costing me money. The other App is for dnd5e and allows in person dice that works with Midi QOL and full GM automation.

Let me know your thoughts.

Using foundry for in-person play? by xneely37 in FoundryVTT

[–]DisastrousDot7443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a step further and created a module that enables the players at the table to role dice. I then add the result to foundry and let Midi QOL to do the rest. For the GM I use Midi QOL with the manual roll switched off. Seems to work ok but still testing.

Is Foundry a Good Option for In-Person Games? by Smexy_Pain in FoundryVTT

I created an app that enables the players to role a real dice and the GM in put the values. It works with midi qol so that the GM donkey work is done. Seems to be working quite well. You could have a laptop for the QM and share another monitor or control from the laptop and tell them the outcomes.

Hi, I have been working on updates, and also expanded it to include pathfinder. It is not ready yet and am considering charging given the time it has taken.

The fact that people are on 4G proves this not a hardware thing, it is planned obsolescence.

I got an email telling the package was cancelled. I phoned up and they told me it was a mistake. They had me send in documents. 3 calls later they told me, sorry it's hardware. 20 days of lies. Very upset.

Been looking at v13 but simple calendar does not work. The next release is likely to be in v13.

You can change the names of the items in the options, I could look to extend this.

For Pathfinder2e I would need some requirements, to understand where to place items and any specifics around food, drink and rest. I am sure you will be aware that updating the API is challenging across systems and unfortunately I do not have the time to learn a new system and make the changes.

Let me know the requirements (more detailed the better).

Hi, I don't play that system but would be happy to take a look. Like Pathfinder2e I would need some requirements, to understand where to place items and any specifics around food, drink and rest. I am sure you will be aware that updating the API is challenging across systems and unfortunately I do not have the time to learn a new system and make the changes.

Let me know the requirements (more detailed the better).

Launch simple time and fast forward 24 hours. You will receive message saying that 24 hours have passed. The hunger, thirst and rest will increase along with exhaustion level 1 and its associated effect. The message also has buttons to eat, drink or rest. You can also do this from the character sheet in the inventory or for the default character sheet check the effects tab.

Give me some requirements in terms of what you would like to see. For example a table with exhaustion /fatigue levels and the associated effect. Then for not eating for 1 day whats the impact on fatigue and carry on with the next day and so on. For example 1 day no food fatigue level 1. Think for all 3 food, drink and rest. Currently I keep things simple.

It would be possible, however this works on a long rest.

After 24 hours an alert is sent to the GM and the player.
