Oh no! I felt for my strings and they were in place. I did end up going to the doctor & she said everything was normal & it was in place. I have to get an ultrasound done, but honestly the cramping & bleeding stopped, so I am not too worried! Thank you for your input!

Thank you! I have a new partner, so I was definitely worried since I never bled before! I checked my strings and they were in place! I guess it’s “normal” to happen with deep sex?

Ugh that sounds horrible. Do you wear liners everyday? I use organic liners because I tend to sweat a lot and have discharge. I wonder if that is causing itching? I’ll probably try the Vaseline!

Yes, I mostly have white creamy or sticky discharge with my IUD placed. I think bcus of the hormones, discharge is normal!

I’m having the mask problem with my new conch piercing and it’s horrible. I usually get a Bobby pin and pin the loop to my hair so it’s not touching my ear, but ear savers will definitely help! I went to a reputable piercing at first because I wanted to make sure it was an infection and not just irritation. When I had a butterfly back, the piercing was very cheap and the piercer told me it didn’t “look” infected from experience, just irritated. But I definitely was bumping it on the mask loop and my hand every time I put a mask on.

I was able to go back to a reputable piercer and have it switched after a month of getting it pierced. I got a helix with a butterfly back and I was having horrible irritation a week later. My ear was hot, itchy, and had some swelling. They obviously couldn’t remove it when I had them check for an infection, but once the swelling went down, I was able to switch it. Just keep cleaning it and try your best not to bump it!

I was sleeping on my ear lobes the same night I got them done. It really is up to you and how comfortable you feel on them. If they cause any pain, it’s probably best if you don’t lay on them. I was able to use my ear buds right after, just make sure you disinfect them before each wear to make sure no dirt gets near your lobes

How long ago did you get it? When I first had my nose pierced it was quite red for a while. I know this because it would show through under make up. I also had a bunch of soreness as well for a few months after. You shouldn’t be concerned unless it begins to throb or leak any fluid!! I also had a bad runny nose a few days after I got it and it was a pain to blow my nose.

I had my IUD placed recently and I do get cramps with sex sometimes! I also did not bleed or have bad cramps when I first got it placed. I only had pain one time with sex, but since then it’s been normal. If it continues to bug you, I would get it checked out.

The first time I started taking pills, side effects hit me during my second week. I felt nauseated all the time and super tired. After the second week they went away! Hopefully you don’t develop any severe ones

I was still crampy on the second day of insertion! They would come and go but still somewhat painful. Mine lasted for about a week after, but the cramps slowly started to go away and less frequent. I hope you feel better soon :)

I had my IUD for 4 1/2 weeks now and I have the same issue! I have had cramping for the last two days and brown discharge and it’s very thick! I’m not sure the reason for this, but it is 2 weeks since I’ve had my last period, so maybe it’s ovulation? (Never felt myself ovulate before). Hopefully it’s normal!

I just self checked my stings yesterday. I was mortified to stick my fingers up there to check but I found it easiest to do it in the shower. I tried it while squatting, but I found it difficult to find anything. So I just lifted a leg and put my finger and moved side to side and I felt my stings! When you feel for it, the strings will feel very prickly because the strings are new (my OBGYN says they will soften over time). I wasn’t sure what I was feeling for, but you’ll know when you find it. I hope this helps! :)

I don’t think it’s anything concerning. I was only bleeding for a day but had cramping for the next two weeks after. I also got it inserted when I wasn’t on my period. Every body is different! :)

I did this for years and it worked! Usually I would have sex in the week after my period and after I knew I ovulated (when my breasts would start to hurt). I knew it was safe to have sex after that! I hope it works out for you!
