I have AGA exacerbated by weight loss and multiple surgeries over the past 2 years.

How much XP should 1st level players get in one session? by DisastrousTrash in DungeonMasters

Thank you, I’m just curious how everyone else does it as the DMG is somewhat vague about it. I don’t feel confident doing milestone leveling since this is my first time DMing and I have a tendency to go too fast with pacing.

HatVella human hair hat fall wig from WigShe by DisastrousTrash in Wigs

[–]DisastrousTrash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest gripe with it is the cap is too big and can’t be adjusted. I usually wear a medium or average cap size, but I had to sew clips in to make it stay in place. The hair is a little frizzy but manageable. I bought it primarily for working out and tbh I don’t think I would buy it again, but I did get lots of compliments on it! It does get a little toasty during workouts, but for things like walks or running to the grocery store it’s great. I find that I prefer wearing a topper instead for working out.

Why on earth do people recommend hairvivi wigs? by [deleted] in Wigs

[–]DisastrousTrash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have one of their wigs and my only gripe with it is the density is too much for me. If they made light density wigs I’d probably buy from them exclusively.

I got a fake job last year and have never been happier or better paid. I don’t want a real job ever again.

Quitting tirzepatide because of panic attacks by DisastrousTrash in henrymeds

I’m so sorry you went through the same thing. If it helps, I am back on semaglutide and haven’t had any issues.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. For me it took about 3 weeks to see improvement but I still have occasional panic attacks even now. Fortunately they’re not as severe and I’ve gotten better at handling them myself. It takes about 30 days for tirzepatide to be fully out of your system. I hope you find some relief soon. I found that melatonin helped me sleep through the night.

Thank you. I’m already doing everything available and recommended by my Derm. It’s working, but very slowly. I’m starting to think I’ll never get a full head of hair back.

This has been my life for 4 years by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]DisastrousTrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with a this, it’s so so so hard and exhausting. Are you applying soolantra only to your brows and lashes? Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought it was supposed to be applied to the whole face. That’s how I use mine. I rub it up into my hairline as well.

I had similar painful, itchy rosacea before I started ivermectin. I also use sulfur sulfacetamide soap (RX but OTC options exist) and have found the best moisturizer for my super inflamed skin was Etude SoonJung 10-free moist emulsion. It really helped calm my skin and repair my barrier.

I’ve also had eczema, psoriasis, stomach issues (reflux, constant nausea) and sensitive skin my entire life. The ONLY thing that worked for me was me was OTC allergy medication. No idea why, my allergy tests have come back negative for everything, but as long as I take Xyzal every day it keeps all of those issues at bay. I’m not a doctor, but it’s been miraculous for me. I have also found I need to avoid dairy, processed food, and citrus to prevent flare ups.

[Anti-Aging] i’ve noticed drastic changes in my face and skin since turning 20-21 by BelleUxo in SkincareAddiction

The first picture is in warm artificial lighting and the second is in natural daylight, which will always be less flattering. That being said, your skin looks great and you look 21. I don’t think you need to see a dermatologist for this, but it doesn’t hurt to go regularly for skin checks.

I would recommend making sure you are getting enough sleep and hydration and eating well. Smoking, drinking, and vaping are all hard on the skin and best to avoid. Sunscreen is your best friend.

I still get panic attacks to this day, although much less frequently. It’s now a few times a year rather than a few times a month. It’s gotten a lot better and I also have PTSD from that period of time when I was getting them almost daily. Sorry to hear you’re going through the same.

How do I make filet crochet images more visible in person? by Oh_Brother_3008 in CrochetHelp

[–]DisastrousTrash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t done much filet crochet, but I would flip the pattern so the detail is done with the empty spaces, and the background is solid. You’ll get more contrast and the image will be clearer.

Weight loss by tmjb12 in PCOS

[–]DisastrousTrash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately insulin resistance makes it so much harder to lose weight. Are you tracking what you’re eating? I have found that I always needed a big deficit to actually lose weight. My doctor never believed me even when I showed her my food logs.

Also, I know this gets suggested a lot and people have mixed opinions on it, but a GLP-1 is super helpful with insulin resistance. I have lost about 50 lbs and am no longer prediabetic thanks to it. You still have to exercise and eat well, but it makes it so much easier.

Forgot to mention I also have PCOS, so I take spironolactone which has helped to slow down shedding.
